Wow. I finished Enchanted Inc. last night and I can’t find the words to tell you how much I loved this book! This is what I want to write!!! Shanna Swendson had darn well better be working on a sequel!!!
I think I’m going to be looking at all my writing material with a completely fresh eye today. I want to write like this! Or at least write this kind of story. I loved this book soooooo much!!!
Wow. Just. Bloody. Brilliant.

Isn’t it great to find an author who inspires you and makes you go “I GOTTA do THAT!”

Was it her first book?

Argh!:angry: I still haven’t found it in stores. I think it’s awful when they tell me it’s still in the warehouse. I mean that’s potential sales Shanna’s missing.

Finding an author, reading a story that leaves you wanting, aching to write like THAT is an amazing high. I LOVE it when that happens.

Kelly, that just sucks! Don’t they know it’s already flying off the shelves in other stores??? Crazy people!
Katie, it’s her first mainstream-y book. She’s written category romance under the name Samantha Carter (which makes me giggle because of Stargate: SG-1
)
Beth, I think this is the first time this has ever happened to me. So I’m kinda
today.

[...] Once upon a time (in 2005 to be precise) there lived an author named Shanna Swendson who had the first book in a new series released entitled Enchanted Inc.. I devoured this book. This is what I had to say about it at the time. THIS was what (and how) I wanted to write. A fun, fresh fantasy. (I’m not there yet but I’m trying!) [...]
