Remember the show Welcome Back, Kotter and Arnold Horshack? He always bounced in his desk and yelled, “Oh, oh, oh!!!” when he knew the answer to a question?
That’s how I am right now. Just got an email from Turner Classic Movies with their schedule for July and on the 3rd, they’re showing the 1910 silent version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I’ve wanted to see this for ages! What’s really funny is it’s a whopping 13 minutes long.
Now if they’d only show Douglas Fairbanks Sr’s version of Zorro….
Tori…you watch weird stuff
but what time is that Wizard on??

I love stuff like that. And I love Turner Classics. My favorite: Father of the Bride with Spencer Tracy and Liz Taylor. That’s the kind of family I always wanted.:jumping:

Kacey, it’s on July 3rd from 9:45 to 10:00pm our time.
Mary, I love that movie, too! I just love old movies.

Gosh, you can’t exactly get up in the middle of that movie to make popcorn, can you?

LOL, Michelle!!! That was pretty much standard length back then. In fact, that was probably long for 1910!

How very cool! These are times when I wish I had cable. Of course, then I’d never get anything done.

Ooh, ooh :waving madly:
I love old movies. Sadly, I’ve never seen many of the classics. But I keep checking for them.

Wow, I didn’t even know there was a silent version! Tori, I offically hire you as my movie expert.
