So. Are we having fun yet? I am! How could I not what with having StephT’s guys as virtual houseguests? :) (I just wish one or the other would give me a neckrub, I could really use one….)

Anyway. Last night had another toe-curling kiss on Veronica Mars between Veronica & Logan.

I’m still letting story ideas percolate on the back burner. I have a lot of stories I’ve already written quite a bit on and I can’t help wondering if I can ever salvage any of them enough to finish. I hate to give up on them, some more than others. But, on the other hand, I have tons of other ideas where all I’ve written down is the bare bones of the idea. :sigh: What to do, what to do….?

Maybe I’ll just let Saint & James amuse me some more… ;)

  1. James gives an awesome massage - I guarantee he’d be happy to oblige.

Of course, it’ll piss Saint off to no end.

And your description of having so many different ideas sounds just like me - which is why I’ve got to work on at least 3 things at once or lose my mind. Of course, I can’t claim to rightly be in my right mind at this point anyway…

  3. Steph, hmm. I’ll have to have a little chat with James then. Saint will just have to learn to live with it. Oh dear. Saint just muttered something about that FBI agent. I may find myself replaced soon anyway.

One of these days you’ll have to fill me in on James. He’s still a bit of a mystery.

Suzanne, yes, I know. I’m hopeless.

  4. I’m with Suzanne. You just have to pick one and see it through until the end. Even if you lose interest, even if you believe the idea sucks. That’s usually when I know I have a good story going. Pathetic, but true.

  6. This is what I do. When I finish a WIP, I start about three or so new WIP’s then decide which one I’m going to finish. I usually get 10 pages in and I can tell if it’s something I can finish or not. I used to keep a notebook in purse for whenever I had a story idea. I’d stop in the middle of the produce aisle and scribble it down.

  7. okay, so I watched that show last night.Veronica Marrs. I so don’t get it. And what age is she supposed to be? Granted, I only watch the last 30 minutes or so…but I was so lost. And couldn’t figure out how old she was!

  8. Mmmmmmm…. Veronica and Logan….

Kacey, she’s in high school. It’s really hard to follow when you catch the tail end of an episode, there’s a million different threads going on. Last night’s was: Catch evil rotten dognappers who keep stealing the rich people’s dogs and trying to get reward money (the little feel good subplot that each episode has), Find out that Duncan (one of the major players and suspects in Veronica’s best friend’s murder) has disappeared, watch things heat up between Logan and Veronica. The whole Logan family thing was a bit of insight into who Logan is and what makes him tick ie: he’s not the shallow self absorbed person Veronica would like to think he is. Ummm… what else? Tori? Any thoughts?
