MaryF is talking about naming characters and I realized mine have rather unusual names for the most part. Of course, some of them I knew were a little odd. But others I hadn’t given much thought about.
My heroines:
Annabeth, Athena, Carly, Cassie, Ceara, Dania, Darcy, Dasher, Delia, Harriet (how old-fashioned can you get?), Aliane, Cherry, Gabrielle, Jaylie, Kerry, Jenny, Jackie, Hayley, Madison, Jessie, Josie, Kacey, Kat, Kate, Kelly, Claire, Nicki, Raven, R.J. (short for Robin Janine), Stacy, Tate, Taylor, Perry, Verilyn, Evangeline, and Alexandra
The heroes:
Jack, Simon, Brett, Jeremy, Keller, Kit, Ford, Dirk, Kyle, Sam, Dillon, Cameron, Dunstan, Drake, Mark, Kieran, Alex, Zack, Max, Kevin, Diego, Harry, Rex, Tony, Tristan, Nick, Stefan, Julien, Vraden, and Duncan
One thing I’ve noticed, too, is I’ve duplicated some first names. Hmm. Oh well.
I also have a LOT of librarian heroines. Gosh, you’d never guess that my library jobs were my favorites, would you?
I love your names!

In one of my newer books, I came across the name Arawn. I HAD to use it for my hero. It just sounds…sexy.

I love picking out character names. It’s like having hundreds of children. But you don’t have to change their diapers.

LOL! Suzanne! I probably don’t spend as much time on my character names as I should!
