I’m gonna have to wrestle the remote away from Saint tonight. (Hmm. That could be rather fun….) He’s been glued to the TV all day watching MSNBC and the Weather Channel coverage of Hurricane Katrina. However, I’ve got about a zillion things to watch tonight. The Discovery Channel has 3 new shows about pirates on tonight. :bounce: Cool! My Kind of Town is on tonight. Fortunately, Missing is a rerun. Whew! Turned out some of the other shows I was going to watch are reruns, too.
My horoscope for today:
You have a lot of charm and tremendous social skills (This is news to me! Well, online maybe. In person? Hah!). This is an unbeatable combination as far as your career is concerned. (Well, that’s good to know. As long as my career is conducted entirely online…) Be sure to go the extra mile at work today, even if you are not in the mood to do so. (Um, would that be my writing work?) Your boss may ask you to join him and a client for dinner (My boss?!?! I don’t have a boss!), or perhaps you’ll be invited to facilitate a meeting (oh, yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun 
). These are ideal opportunities to showcase your talents, so embrace them rather than shy away from them. (Huh. I think I’d almost rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick.)
On a happier note, I think I may go scrounge some room on the futon now. Two guys sprawling take up a LOT of room.

I didn’t even remember him. Of course, he’s the heroine’s brother and he now works for the State Department and he’s going to be none too pleased when he finds out his little sister’s hanging out with a vampire.
