Took this quiz this afternoon - “Which Serenity Character Are You?”:

You scored as River Tam. The Fugitive. You are clever and dangerous, which is a nasty combination. The fact you are crazy too just adds to your charm. They did bad things to you, but you know their secrets. They will regret how they made you.

Which Serenity character are you?

On other TV topics, who caught Survivor last night? Is it just me or does this season have more hot guys than usual? I’m lusting over Jamie, Brandon, and Blake. Yum! Though they’re starting to look not quite so hot now that they’ve been there over a week.

Continuing the discussion on the wonders of Target, one of the things I love about them over Wallyworld is that Target has better quality stuff (like furniture, etc.) than Wallyworld. Wallyworld has the crappiest furniture. :yuck: But I’ve got some gorgeous small bookscases from Target. They fold up when you don’t need them! Not that that’s ever going to happen with all the books I have, but still. And I have a lovely media cabinet with glass (well, okay, it’s plexiglass) inserts in the doors. All of these are solid wood which I have to have because of my stupid chemical allergies.

Anyway… thanks for the Slave to Target link, Rene! What a hoot!

Onward…

The Amazing Race was pretty good. Having families instead of couples makes it a little different, though. I’m just thankful my family doesn’t fight like some of these do! :boxing: Yikes!

In other TV news… how ’bout last night’s Lost? Wow! Just who the heck IS Desmond? And why didn’t he seem to recognize Jack??? How did he get into the underground complex? Why does he consider the outside world contaminated? Hmm. That last question could be answered any number of ways, so never mind. And did you notice Michael gave Walt a stuffed POLAR BEAR when he was a toddler???

Writing… well, I’m still attempting to get back in the groove there. So the less said about THAT the better.

I would just like to state for the record that I love Target. When I lived in Texas, I had Target on one side of the street and Walmart on the other. Guess which one I shopped at? Anyway, one of the things I hated about moving back home with my parents was NO TARGET!!! The closest one was around 100 miles away. But no more! Next week, one is opening a mere 50 miles away! Woohoo!!! Not that I feel like doing all that much shopping, but that’s beside the point. Oh, and we’re also getting a Barnes & Noble! Our old mall is/was pretty pitiful. The new one is going to be so cool!

As for all my fun and interesting spam, trust me, I get plenty of the Viagra (and other prescription drugs) spam, the mortgage refinancing spam, the “get a college degree in 24 hours” spam, etc. In fact, I get that most of the time. It’s just every once in awhile, they get sneaky and come up with some really funny subject lines. :)

So, who watched The Amazing Race last night? I was disappointed that the Black family got eliminated. I liked them. The Paolo family annoyed me to no end.
