I would just like to state for the record that I love Target. When I lived in Texas, I had Target on one side of the street and Walmart on the other. Guess which one I shopped at?
Anyway, one of the things I hated about moving back home with my parents was NO TARGET!!! The closest one was around 100 miles away. But no more! Next week, one is opening a mere 50 miles away! Woohoo!!!
Not that I feel like doing all that much shopping, but that’s beside the point. Oh, and we’re also getting a Barnes & Noble! Our old mall is/was pretty pitiful. The new one is going to be so cool!
As for all my fun and interesting spam, trust me, I get plenty of the Viagra (and other prescription drugs) spam, the mortgage refinancing spam, the “get a college degree in 24 hours” spam, etc. In fact, I get that most of the time. It’s just every once in awhile, they get sneaky and come up with some really funny subject lines.
So, who watched The Amazing Race last night? I was disappointed that the Black family got eliminated. I liked them. The Paolo family annoyed me to no end. ![]()
I’ve always loved my Target (which is approximately 2.5 miles away from me and to get to which I drive PAST a Wal Mart!) But now they’re turning it into a Super Target, and it’s all noisy and under construction and everything’s all moved around so I can’t find anything, and I’m not thrilled with the idea of it being a grocery store when they’re all done.

I have to laugh. My closest Target is a mere fifty miles away, also. I think I shop there about twice a year. I love it, don’t get me wrong. But when you’re surrounded by Super Wal-Mart’s, it’s not a hard choice to make.
Yay for the new bookstore! Man, those are always excellent.

Oh, I love Target too! I wish I could decorate my house with all their trendy stuff.

I love Target. I love any bookstore as well - but I’ve gotten way too used to shopping online. I’m spoiled when I actually have to shop among real people.:boxing:

You know, it’s a shame that those diploma mills don’t bother to get accredited–I could use another diploma about now…

I am a huge Target fan. I have two within 7 miles of me and a Target Greatland 10 miles away. In fact, I am planning a Target trip today. Have you seen this blog? http://slavetotarget.blogspot.com. I love it.

Love, love Target. And I missed Amazing Race. Hubby wanted to watch the Commander in Chief. Was AR good?
