So, who saw Survivor last night? What did you think? I don’t much like Judd but I was glad he stuck with his new alliance with Steph and Jamie the Hot Dude.
With the exception of Steph, Margaret the Nurse, Lydia, and Amy the Cop, I can’t really tell the other girls apart. They’re all so much alike. So let’s get rid of all of them first.
I haven’t seen Veronica Mars yet. Wednesdays at 8:00pm Central were REALLY complicated there for awhile because there were four shows on at the same time I wanted to watch. However, NBC obligingly moved E-Ring to 7:00pm and WWOR (my UPN channel on satellite) is showing encore episodes of Veronica Mars on Sundays at 6:00pm. Whew! Thanks, people! You’ve made my life much easier.
In other news, we’re seriously starting to talk about moving. Yay!
I’ve practically lived in this small bedroom for four years now. I won’t know how to act when I have more room. The downside is having to get the house ready to show. I’ve got so much stuff crammed into my bedroom it’s not funny. But what do you expect when it’s got to double as my living area & office, too?
Anyway, I’ve got to start packing up some stuff and shifting things I don’t want packed away to the storage building we affectionately call The Playhouse.
At least out there I can still access things if I need them without having to go through boxes. Provided it doesn’t get too cold…
On the writing front, I’m still struggling to get anything accomplished which seriously sucks dead canaries. (And isn’t that a lovely image?
) I did finally get all the corrections and bits & pieces keyed in that I’d scribbled on the manuscript. But I just can’t get excited about doing anything else with it. *sigh*
And I know I’ll get yelled at—not that that’s ever stopped me before—but while in the shower this morning, an opening sentence popped into my head for an idea I’ve been letting simmer on the back burner of my brain for some time now. So I wrote it down as soon as I got out of the shower so I wouldn’t forget it while I struggle to finish this other mess.

Good luck with moving! I’m in the same boat. I want to move so bad, but boy is it going to be a nightmare getting ready to sell.

Sucking dead canaries? Ewwwwwwwwwwwww
*laughing* You’re a mess.
I always catch the hind end of Survivor. I don’t seriously watch it. But I did see where that guy ended up voting off Brooke. It’s so political it makes my eyes cross.
Write, woman! WRITE!

Good luck on the move, and as for the other story, hey, you wrote it down. You can’t be expected to ignore inspiration when it comes.

Good luck with the moving. I wish I were moving. I really hate our neighborhood.

Hi Tori,
Good luck with the move. I really dread when all of “this” is over with mom and we have to pack-up over 30 years of living.
Whenever inspiration hits me I write it down – no matter what I’m working on at the time. Better to do that than to risk losing it.

Cool on moving – but I’m with you on the packing. I can’t throw anything writing-related away, and since I know you write longhanded like me, I know you’ve got the piles of old legal pads stacked up somewhere. Just in case…

Here’s hoping that you can move to a bigger place soon!
