Okay, Michelle tagged me on this one:

Three screen names that you’ve had: Tori Lennox, jacardie, and (coming out of the closet—no, not THAT closet—just the anonymity/pseudonym closet I’ve been hiding in) vlemonds (my real last name and first initial).

Three things you like about yourself: I’m loyal to my friends, (stealing from Michelle) I’ve never been convicted of a felony, and my eyes.

Three things you don’t like about yourself: My weight, my health (not that there’s a lot I can do about that), my lack of organization.

Three parts of your heritage: Primarily English, but I’m also French, Irish, Scottish and German (or possibly Dutch). And, yes, I know that’s more than three, thank you. :D

Three things that scare you: large insects, snakes, and….. um, submitting my writing

Three of your everyday essentials: Diet Coke and lots of it, chocolate, Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Movie Style Popcorn

Three things you are wearing right now: Er, my pajamas, my sheep-skin lined slippers, and my insulin pump.

Three of your favorite songs: Poison by Groove Coverage, Authority Song by John Cougar Mellencamp, I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue (there are lots more, but I had a hard time choosing just three!).

Three things you want in a relationship: Love, partnership, and a guy who doesn’t mind giving me my own space when I need it

Two truths and a lie: (I’ll just steal some of Michelle’s answers here) Truth: I have no self-control when it comes to chocolate. Truth: I have a really hard time sticking with any one writing project. Lie: I wear a size 2.

Three things you can’t live without: Diet Coke, chocolate, and Orville’s Movie Style Popcorn (well, they ARE essential!)

Three places you want to go on vacation: the United Kingdom, Kenya, Venice (Italy not California)

Three things you just can’t do: Play sports (I suffer from a severe lack of coordination), math in my head, get organized

Three kids names: I don’t have any kids, nor am I likely to ever have any—but the one character I have who eventually has kids has twins named Anthony Devlin (Tony) and Alexandra Meredith (Lexie)

Three things you want to do before you die: Go on an African safari, publish a book (or 100), and earn a million dollars (or more).

Three celeb crushes: Pierce Brosnan (as James Bond and Remington Steele), Harrison Ford (as Indiana Jones), and Antonio Banderas (as Zorro)

Three of your favorite musicians: Can I pick bands instead? Def Leppard, Roxette, and Silly Wizard (they’re a Celtic band)

Three physical things about the opposite sex that appeals to you: hot body (but not too muscle-bound, great eyes, killer smile

Three of your favorite hobbies: writing, reading, genealogy

Three things you really want to do badly right now: finish a book and sell it, move into a bigger house, lose weight

Three careers you’re considering/you’ve considered: full-time author, architect, archaeologist

Three ways that you are stereotypically a boy: (I’m gonna steal some of Michelle’s answers here) I like independence/autonomy, I don’t put up with idiocy from people “just because we’ve always done it this way”, and I love to channel surf.

Three ways that you are stereotypically a girl: I love playing dress-up, I love gorgeous, expensive jewelry, I love pink.

Three people that I would like to see post this meme: Since I’m not sure who all’s already done this, I’m not going to answer this one.

In other news, the writing continues, though it’s going verrrry sloooooowly. I’m thinking it might be time to hop to another project for a few days. I’ve come to the conclusion I can’t work on one thing exclusively for any length of time. :confused68:

  4. Eve, do I take that to mean you’re into genealogy? :) I haven’t done anything with mine in awhile. I keep saying I’ll get back into it, but it hasn’t happened yet.

  5. Am I ever! Haven’t done any lately - not since the computer crashed and I had to have the hard drive replaced and I very stupidly did not have a backup of my tree - yikes! I have everything in notes and printouts, just not in the mood to put all of those names/dates, etc. in again. I had it back to 1600s.
