My husband was in the air force for 20 years. I'm proud of him, too.

Most of my uncles were in the military. My dad was. My BIL is now. I'm a strong believer in saying thanks for all you do.

Tori, the men and women who defend our freedom deserve so much more than what we give them.

My father spent WWII in the Navy on a minesweeper, paving the way for the troop ships to travel. If he didn't get blown up, it was safe for the others to go. Yikes! Can you imagine the stress?

What a cool heritage. One of the few things I will never forget (since I forget everything) is the great sacrifices our service members have made so that we can live in this great country.

Me too. I have a couple great whatever Uncles who died at the battle of Brandywine and other ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War. A 3 times great grandfather who died in the Confederate Army at The Battle of the Wilderness, no Mexican/American or Spanish/American war vets, 3 WWI, 12 WWII, 3 Korea, 4 Vietnam and now one in this war. We didn't get along very well with a lot of people either.
