The other day I was talking about Christmas carol parodies and today Larissa Ione is talking about misheard lyrics for Christmas carols. My favorite misheard lyrics from the Snopes site is Deck the Halls.

I did a bit of writing last night on the Bermuda Triangle idea I had. :) I really need to work on the murder mystery, but between the holidays and being in Moving Hell my focus is really messed up.

 My life is so boring.

  1. I’d settle for boring right now. And your life can’t be boring – you’re moving!!!! New place, new adventures …

Some people say that it isn’t good to stop work on one project and begin on another, but with your focus screwed up right now because of the move – I think it’s more important that you just keep on writing – anything – just to keep yourself in the groove. IMHO

  2. I’m the world’s worst about hopping around in my writing, but I can’t focus on the mystery regardless, so I figure I might as well write something. Besides, I’ve got to start packing up my research books soon. :)

  3. Anyone who decides to move during the holidays is not boring… life will be better once you’ve settled in

  4. I think Silent Night is my favorite. Especially the bit about “Holy imbecile, tender and mild”. Birds of a feather, I guess. Have a merry Christmas!

  5. How can you say life is boring when you’re moving??? I love the idea of moving – used to do it a lot  I’d trade you if I could.

  6. Hope the move is going well – and I’m jealous that you’re actually getting in some writing time. I’m at the point where I feel like I’m going to need to sneak off during Christmas Eve dinner and sneak in a few pages….
