Okay, so I’m curious, what exactly is so special about French hens? Are they better than hens from other countries? Do they lay better eggs? Do they taste better? What? Enquiring minds want to know.

The cold continues to linger despite copious amounts of vitamin C, sinus medicine, and cough medicine. Could be worse, though, so I won’t complain. Too much. ;)

We’re having very un-Christmasy weather here today. It’s 62 degrees! :confused68:

  1. Here is a site that talks about French poultry breeds. They are kind of pretty.

  2. Maybe they’re the ones that don’t like Americans, those French hens!

  3. French Hens: easy to slaughter in the barnyard? American Poultry is hateful and fights back. French hens lay down if they see someone coming?

Or maybe they are already full of smoky flavor from spending a lot of time in French cafés?
