I haven’t seen any thus far, but my horoscopes seem to be pretty sure.

First up:

“Business and money matters may seem to be going too well to be true. Success and good fortune in these departments are definitely in the celestial cards! (So bring it on!) If you’ve been trying for a break in a creative or artistic field, it may finally manifest. (Hey, does this mean what I think it means???) The present looks profitable and the future bright. (So, I repeat… BRING IT ON!) In the evening: Celebrate by scheduling a romantic encounter with a lover. You should find it especially gratifying at this time! (That would require finding one first….)

The other ‘scope says:

“Cloud Nine is a lovely place to be, (I wonder if that’s the same Cloud Nine as the ship on Battlestar Galactica?) but it’s time to get your feet back on the ground. You can still reach for the stars — you just need to make sure that a few practical details are being addressed, too. (Oh, if I’m reaching for the stars, it MUST be the same Cloud Nine  )

The Usual Suspects have critiqued the rough draft of my synopsis and deemed it pretty good overall. Needs some tweaking, though, :typing: which I fully expected. Now I just need to get moved (we’ve had more roadblocks :cursin: ) so I can settle in and get to work.

To answer yesterday’s question about Robert Scorpio’s middle name, it was Xavier. Why do I remember stuff like this???

So I’m listening to Sirius Satellite Radio channel 22, First Wave-Classic Alternative Rock. They just played INXS’s Suicide Blonde which I’ve always liked. But I got to thinking… what exactly does that mean??? Is she just so hot she makes you want to kill yourself?

I don’t know why, but the Sprint commercial that’s running now makes me giggle  every time I see it. If you haven’t noticed it, there are two men in a big office. One older man sitting at a desk with nothing but a cell phone sitting on the desk blotter pad. A younger guy is standing next to the desk. The younger guy asks about the older guy’s new phone. Older Guy tells him about the money he’s saving then says, “It’s my little way of sticking it to The Man.” Younger Dude looks confused. “But you ARE The Man. Aren’t you sticking it to yourself?” Older Guy replies with a succinct, “Maybe.”

Hmm. It loses something in translation.

I missed it on Friday, but according to my mom Robert Scorpio did indeed show up at the end of General Hospital. So I’ve set a reminder to myself to catch it today. :) So now we’ve got Rick Springfield back as Noah Drake and Tristan Rogers as Robert Scorpio. Hey, who remembers Scorpio’s middle name? There’s no prize for knowing, alas, but it’s a good trivia question.

Today’s horoscope:

Group activities might prove especially gratifying at this time, both intellectually and emotionally. Relationships with old friends grow stronger, and new friends may also come on the scene. Among them may be people in the same profession as you, and through them you might learn of new opportunities for career advancement. At some point, expect an inspiring story of some kind to move you to tears. Don’t fight it!

That last part must be referring to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. That show always makes me sniffle if not outright cry. :)

Looks like most of the shows next week are repeats. Bet that’ll be true for most of February. Who wants to try and compete against the Olympics? Which is fine with me. I don’t have to worry about missing anything that way.
