I’m in a Big Band sort of mood at the moment. I may have to check to see if On a Slow Boat to China is available on iTunes.
So we’re in the midst of the short rerun season this week. Boring, boring, boring. But on Thursday is the new season of Survivor!
Sounds like it’ll be a fun run this time around. Though it might be hard to top last season’s backstabbing and out and out fighting.
Today’s horoscopes are kind of fun.
“If it were up to you, you would rather stay in bed reading than in the cold world we live in. (Well, duh!
) Somehow, you might feel that you should socialize. You feel that you cannot be left out of society. But have you ever thought about finding someone who shares your tastes? (Gosh! That’s never crossed my mind before…
) You could read in bed with someone else and still have a lot of contacts! (That sounds great in theory. So where can I find him?)”
Then we have:
“A close friend will deliver information you have been longing for. (Do they know where my money is?) Ignoring contact from people will come at a great cost. (Oh dear…) Someone has increased his or her status in the world and you might not realize the positive implications this could have for you. (Hey, did someone I know become an editor at a publishing house or something???)”
So it sounds like I should spend the day being a social butterfly. Too bad I like being a hermit better. LOL!

Moving? Is this the entire household, or just you?!
I’ve been waiting for your feed to LJ–you can’t require me to remember to check other blogs. The body is busy fighting off invaders…

I’d love to be on a slow boat to China . . . Crystal Cruises and a balcony room, please.

Well, I’d take a slow boat to China if Hugh Jackman were on it.

Big band, huh? I love Glenn Miller, personally.
And (nudge, nudge), are you working on that proposal you’re going to submit?
