So, I’ve been diligently trying to find information on tunnels under Washington, D.C. Talk about a needle in a haystack! At first, all I found were articles about service tunnels, sewers, etc. No, thank you, not what I wanted. Then I discovered something in the midst of all that referring to the Illuminati and the Freemasons. “Oh!” I thought. “This sounds more promising. Or at least more entertaining.” So I added Freemasons to my googling search keywords. And hit the freakin’ jackpot! :whoo:

Well, actually, nobody has any maps of these alleged tunnels, but there’s lots of speculation. And it’s all wacky and out of this world. Conspiracy theorists. Bless ‘em. They are entertaining. Really, I don’t buy the whole Freemasons = Satanists thing. Hello? :waving2: My great-great-granddaddy was a Mason, thank you very much. And I just can’t picture him being into that sort of thing. Or consorting with people from Atlantis (which is anothe bizarre theory, LOL!). Sorry. :D

Of course, I ought to be working on my murder mystery. However, I’m having trouble getting into the 1920s mind-set. I may have to break out the 1920s music CDs…… :rocker:

  3. For crying out tears in a bucket - I knew about the Freemasons (”National Treasure” anyone). Sam Houston was a Mason (or so they say).

  5. Good for you for finding more info! Have you read The DaVinci Code? Talks a lot about the Illumanti. Very entertaining book and now the movie will be out in May with Tom Hanks. I can’t wait to see it.
