Got out today for pretty much the first time since we moved, except for a trip to the library. :crazedjumping: I got to go to Target!!! For the first time in FIVE YEARS!!!

On the way home we saw a sign that said, “Litter Crew Ahead”. I looked at all the trash on the side of the road for a moment, then told Mom, “They’re doing a great job! Look at all that litter!” I do amuse myself sometimes. LOL! (Okay, I amused Mom, too.)

Today’s horoscope:

“Love and romance is coming your way today, (Promises, promises…) but it is important to be practical with how you treat it. Don’t take your relationships for granted. Realize that love doesn’t necessarily mean that everything is perfect and fairy tale like. (Well, darn!) Structure and discipline is often required in order to maintain a healthy partnership. (Oooh, kinky! :whip:) You should be able to incorporate these elements rather well, so make the most of this energy.”

  3. Litter crew

I love Target, but it doesn’t like me (actually that’s not true - it loves my credit card).

  6. My heart lurched when I read it had been five years since you’ve been to a Target. I go into withdrawal if I don’t go once in five days.

  7. Teresa, I love Target. I’ve missed having one. In fact, our closest shopping mecca is getting a brand spanking new mall that has its grand opening today. :)

Crystal, energy? Who said I had energy??? Hon, I had to stop twice and sit down while we were at Target.

Sandy, oh yeah! If I’d been so inclined I’m sure I could have spent a lot more money than I did yesterday. :D

Michelle, I found things I needed more than wanted. :) But we looked at some possible solutions for my bedroom while we were there. And some fun stuff (that was a little overpriced, IMO).

Eve, oh, I know whereof you speak. :)

Rene, LOL! Between the health problems and living in an area that was for all intents & purposes a shopping desert (at least until our new mall was built), it wasn’t that hard to not shop. :)
