It’s Sunday, so I’m listening to the Celtic music program on the local university’s radio station. They only play for an hour, though, so it’s over just about the time I really get into it.

Didn’t get much writing done yesterday. But I did record a bunch of movies. One of which was National Treasure. LOVED it!!!!!!! :bananadance: Now I can’t wait until National Treasure 2 comes out!

I also recorded:

    Ella Enchanted
    The Incredibles
Around the World in 80 Days (the Jackie Chan version—I love Jackie Chan :))

And later on today there’s:

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
    Hellboy
Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (Though I haven’t seen the entire first one so I may skip this one. We’ll see.)

Anyway, back to writing. Must do more today. :typing:

That title has nothing to do with anything. It just popped into my head.

I like today’s horoscopes:

“Unusual experiences may give rise to a new interest in the sciences, or in occult practices such as magic or alchemy. (Research by any other name…) This is an excellent time to start perusing such subjects, or to embark on a formal study of astrology. A lucky break with respect to money could come your way today. (:whoo:) It could be a gift, or possibly a loan repaid. Your inclination may be to go out and spend it all on the house. Take care! (Does that mean I should or shouldn’t spend it???)

And:

“Put those wheels in motion, or you could end up just staying in the same exact place. (Well, duh! :duh:) The stars promise that risks taken at this time will pay off in a major way. Act now — this opportunity won’t last forever. (Cool! I’d best get crackin’ :whip:)

So, last night was part one of the two-part season finale of Ghost Whisperer. Good episode! Just the right touch of creepy (I don’t like the really creepy episodes). Can’t wait to see next week’s episode! Then I watched Doctor Who. That’s always fun. :) And then it was time for Numbers. Who knew math could be so sexy?

And I surprised myself by writing almost a full page last night! :typing: (Well, I didn’t actually type it, it was in longhand.) New stuff and quite possibly a new opening I might keep. It’s a lot more hook-y than the current opening. So. How does a paranormal chick lit murder mystery grab you?

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the book I’m reading :book: now. Kasey Michaels’ Maggie Needs an Alibi. This such a FUN book!!! Maggie is a mystery writer whose detective (a Regency-era hero) and his sidekick literally come to life. I had to make myself put the book down and go to sleep last night. :)

Well, let’s see… last night on TV we had a highly amusing Survivor. Shane is either a complete lunatic or he’s crazy like a fox. Personally, I lean towards the former. He spent a good part of last night’s episode pretending a rock (or a piece of wood?) he’d found was his Blackberry. He was sending “email” and “surfing the Web”. Oooo-kay. Back away slowly….

Terry the Fighter Pilot once again won Individual Immunity. For the FOURTH time in a row. Ordinarily this might annoy me, but he’s the only person on the show I like, so I’m happy about it. *g*

Then on CSI they had certain parts of the show from four different people’s perspectives. Though I did wonder how all four of them could hear the assistant coronor dude say “You’d think she’d know better than to wear white on the bride’s big day” when they didn’t appear to be together in the rest of one another’s flashbacks. *shrug* Oh well. Anyway, I loved Greg’s black & white Raymond Chandler-esque flashback. :)

And I’m not 100% sure, but I think the host of HGTV’s House Hunters, Suzanne Whang, was on last night’s Without a Trace as the mother of an ice skater.

On the writing front, all I managed was adding a word or two here and there on my paranormal chick lit. Still needs a lot of work. Heck, it needs a plot! LOL!

I got some pictures of more severe tornado damage yesterday:

A big tree that’s been uprooted.

The infamous rail car with a tractor inside (which you can’t see).

A destroyed house.

The old school (now offices).

Another angle of the old school.

An overturned car.

Another angle of the car.

Debris wrapped around and in trees.

A damaged house.
