No, we don’t really have ice. But they’re bringing & installing our central a/c unit today.
Then we’ll be ready for the Really Warm Temps.
I’m listening to Sirius Satellite Radio’s Disorder channel. They play Celtic music on Saturdays from 9:00am to noon. Just finished up with The Kennedys’ Dharma Cafe which is a really catchy little tune.
Now they’re playing Fairport Convention. They’re singing Ricky Nelson’s Garden Party in Gaelic!
An interesting tidbit in the news today:
Explorers find Nile’s ‘true source’
Surviving a rebel attack and braving crocodile-infested waters, a group of explorers has completed an 80-day voyage down the world’s longest river reaching what they say is the source of the Nile.
Funny, I thought they’d discovered that 150 years ago!

I thought they had too – didn’t Stanley or Livingston or some such person discover it? Now I’m confused – oh wait, I’m always confused.
A morning of Celtic music – bliss.

You’re getting a new a/c.
Oh… I love celtic music!

Sounds like an interesting voyage! And Ricky Nelson in Gaelic? What is this world coming to?

so do you have a stand alone satellite radio? Or one of those portable ones?

Eve, yep! But apparently Livingstone was wrong.
These guys claim the Nile is 66 miles longer than previously thought.
Silma, they got the a/c installed just in the nick of time! It’s starting to warm up quite a bit here. Probably warmer where you are, though.
Michelle, hearing Garden Party in Gaelic was very… disconcerting!
Kacey, I get Sirius as part of my Dish Network package, so no radio, per se. I listen on TV.
The only thing I don’t get are the talk radio channels. Just the music.

Well, one should never “presume” anything with him

of COURSE you get them on the TV. I should have thought of that. I’m very behind the time, TV-wise…
