This just in! After 31 years worth of searching, Jimmy Hoffa is STILL MISSING!!! I feel sorry for the people who owned that farm in Michigan the FBI’s been digging up for the last two weeks. They even knocked down a barn and dug up the ground under it! I sure hope the owners are reimbursed for all the damage. As for Jimmy, he’s probably living it up in Brazil surrounded by lots of scantily clad women.

I watched Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire last night. I’d recorded it on Pay-Per-View and they had some additional stuff about the movie afterwards that was fun. For instance, did you know Daniel Radcliffe did some of his own stunts? Such as the scene where Harry’s slidiing off the roof of the school during the Dragon Task.

Getting back to all my story ideas… some of them have been banging around for years. Mandy probably even recognized some of them. However, the large majority have little to nothing actually written on them. They’re just notes I’ve made. And, no, most of them have no plot. I suck at plotting.

No, not the movie. The one I fell into yesterday. I just got busy with other stuff, none of it terribly important, but it sucked my whole day away. Anyway.

I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day (those of you in the U.S., that is). We didn’t do anything special around here. Just worked around the house and yard.

I watched a fun movie last night on the Hallmark Channel. The Curse of King Tut’s Tomb. While it was fun, I think any resemblance to historical fact was purely accidental. For instance, this took place before Howard Carter’s discovery of the tomb in 1922, but the female lead’s wardrobe was SO not period, except once she wore a dress that sort of vaguely looked like it came from the 1920s, but more the late ’20s than the early. Too funny. And the vehicles didn’t much look like they came from the early ’20s either. In fact, the car the villain drove looked rather like a 1930s-era Packard. And then there were the demons, the villainous secret society who wanted to dominate the world, and the brief resurrection of ol’ Tut himself (he really was a god). But, no matter. It was still fun. And it had Casper Van Dien in it who isn’t uneasy on the eyes.
