I’m tinkering with my blog and I just added a “subscribe to comments” thingie. When I pull up the comments page, all I get is “You are the author of this entry” and a link to manage subscriptions. Could somebody tell me what it looks like from your end? Please and thank you. :)

It’s really quiet on my email loops and the blog circuit. Everybody must be out having a fun holiday weekend. But I’m here and bored out of my mind. I suppose I should try writing. :typing: What a concept!

Today’s horoscopes:

“If you own your own home, or have any kind of investments in real estate, you might hear some great news today about the value of that investment. (Yes, but I don’t, so what does this do for me?) It’s likely to be rapidly increasing – and probably will continue in that direction. (Well, isn’t that just my luck!) This could make a big difference in your life right now in some way. (But only if I actually, like, owned any property!) In fact, there might be a number of options opening to you. Consider them all carefully, and go for the gold. (Thanks for nothing!)

Number Two:

“Remain realistic and do not push the edge of what is legal or safe. (Well, sheesh. Where’s the fun in that???) An old friend is involved in the darker side of life today, but you can only be there for emotional support, not as a life preserver. (Is this the same friend who’s been stabbing me in the back? )

And Number Three:

“A little lighthearted banter is exactly what the doctor ordered. Your spirits lift when you’re around intellectually stimulating company. (If only I hadn’t been abandoned by all my friends… *dramatic sigh*) Don’t be afraid of debate — in fact, the more opposing views, the better!”

I don’t know about where you are, but it’s warming up here. It’s been in the low 90s the last few days. And nice and sticky, too. :yuck:

I don’t get as much entertaining spam as Eve, but since it’s Spamarama Friday, here’s my pitiful selection:

Live Psychics (Well, that’s good. I hate talking to dead ones.)
Catching modern outdoor rays (Which, of course, we all know are vastly superior to old, antiquated outdoor rays.)
Been saved lately (Quite some time ago, thank you.)

Some Lost news. Supposedly, according to TV Guide next season they’ll be adding two new female characters (one in her 30s who has “leadership abilities” and one in her 20s) and a hot Latino hunk in his 20s. :whoo: You can never have too many hot hunks! ;)

On the horoscope front:

“There’s been a real social whirl in your life lately. You may be feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the people and parties. (Excuse me while I laugh hysterically. They sure dropped the ball on this one!) It’s fun to see everyone, but a bit daunting to renew ties with old friends all the while trying to remember the names of new ones. Names and faces mingle in your mind to the point where you’re not sure of your own name (like that’s something new…), much less anyone else’s. Take a deep breath, you are doing just fine. (well, thanks for your support LOL!)

And, we have:

“An individual who purports to be your friend is really just a time waster. Embrace your own desires instead of those of this person today. Pursue personal growth. (Y’know, they’re starting to make me just a tad paranoid…)

Finally, my favorite of the day:

“It’s time to let yourself sink into a sweet indulgence. After all, life can be lovely—but if you don’t give yourself a treat once in a while, how will you know? Go ahead and do something delightfully sensual. (Okey-doke. You’ve convinced me. :bath:  )

Yes, boys and girls, today I’m going to go on indefinitely about last night’s season finale of Lost. :confused68: Wow!!! If you watch and haven’t seen it yet, be warned, I’m about to post some stuff that happened. In no particular order (just as I remember them):

I knew he looked vaguely familiar, but didn’t twig to the fact that Kelvin (Desmond’s button-pushing buddy) was the CIA dude who got Sayid to work for the U.S. at one point during the Gulf War!!!
Are Walt & Michael really going to be allowed to leave?
What are the Others going to do with Kate, Jack, and Sawyer?
What about that bird that called Hurley’s name?
Then there were all those tubes for the reports from Pearl Station that exited the pneumatic chute in the middle of nowhere!
We found out Desmond got his sailboat from Libby (and was her hair ugly, or what!)… I wonder what her last name was?
Then there’s the Widmore connection to all sorts of things: the construction company Michael worked for, Sun’s pregnancy test, the box company where Locke worked.
What was the deal with that Lord of the Rings-esque statue Sayid, Sun and Jin saw?
So, despite the hatch door flying into space, then crashing almost on top of Claire, Aaron & Rose’s husband whose name escapes me at the moment, Charlie was able to escape the hatch when Desmond used the failsafe. (And how’s that for a run-on sentence? ) So what happened to Locke & Eko?
And then the end? Desmond’s girlfriend, Penny Widmore, and her Portuguese scientists who were searching for Desmond and found “an electromagnetic anomaly”. She obviously knew how to find him, just not where.

On the horoscope front:

“It is possible that a big change is in store for you in the near future. (Oh goody!) It may be that you have come to realize that your current home and neighborhood is no longer such a good fit. (Um, I doubt that considering we’ve only been here a few months. ) If you have been toying with the idea of moving, today you may get some news that motivates you to make your fantasy a reality. (What? Like a lottery win? Though I’d have to play to win…) Today is a good day for perusing the real estate section; you might be pleasantly surprised by what you find there. (Oh, any day is a good day to peruse real estate listings. Silly astrologers. LOL!)

Or, there’s this one:

“A good chance to reach a goal is stifled by opportunities that get missed. (Uh-oh… :duh: ) Your obsession with paying attention to details has interfered with your ability to see the big picture and today you will need a larger scope. (Hmm. Aren’t writers SUPPOSED to pay attention to details? :useyourhead: )

And finally, we have this one:

“Business as usual just isn’t cutting it anymore—it’s time for a change, and a big one too. (There’s that ‘big change’ thing again. Curious.) Any investments you make right now have big returns, especially if you’re willing to branch out in a new direction. (I wish they’d give me some suggestions, for cryin’ out loud! Sheesh.)

Okay, that’s enough prattling for one day, I think. Unless I think of something IMPORTANT I forgot. :)
