Actually, that could probably be said about ALL my blog posts. :)

But anyway… I was so braindead yesterday. Did NO writing. Bad Tori! :whip: No biscuit! I feel much better today. Relatively speaking, at least.

Today’s horoscopes:

“If you feel you have been looking toward the past recently, you have been doing it in order to liberate yourself from it. (Have I been doing this? I didn’t think so, but maybe I’m too close to it to notice…) You may feel like revisiting your childhood or rekindling certain relationships with old friends. (Oh. Well, yes, but that would be kind of fun, don’t you think? :streamer:) But the planets are making you a bit too romantic, (Hey! I’m a Cancer, what do you expect???) and you will be disappointed by the reality of things. (Oh, now THERE’S something new.) Looking backwards isn’t really the best way to move toward the future. Nostalgia just isn’t what it used to be! (No kidding!)

“Some focus on your health will make you smile today. (I just took some store brand Sudafed. Does that count?) A checkup or just a brisk walk will make you feel more in tune with your body. (Didn’t I do that yesterday…?) A possible soulmate is lurking nearby, so look and feel your best. (Did they have to use the word “lurking”? Sounds more like a stalker to me!)

“Multiple people, places and things are on your radar. (Make it stop!!!) While you love the attention, your focus does feel ever so slightly fractured. (Gee, ya think?) Making—and sticking to—a priority list is key to taking care of business. (In that case, I’m in BIG trouble. I’ve never been able to manage that.)

I’ve been watching the British edition of Whose Line Is It Anyway? on BBC America lately. The American version wasn’t funny anymore because I’d seen almost all the episodes (multiple times). So the British ones are fresh! They’re funny! And they sometimes have cute Brits! :whoo:

Tonight’s the latest episode of Hex. It’s a very strange little show. I’m not as hyped on it as I was at first. Not that I’ll stop watching, mind you. ;)

And not to end this post on a down note, but I just read that Jim Baen, the founder of Baen Books (a science fiction/fantasy publisher) died yesterday.

  1. A post about nothing… Reminds me of Seinfield.

  2. You know, I’ve been in quite a pissy mood lately. So I’m pondering writing the pissy post. Expect that one.
I’m not as hot for Hex as I was either. But I will be watching this evening (or taping) because I’m curious.

    Glad you feel better!

  5. I am watching Hex. I really loved the idea of it, at first, like you, since I love fallen angels and all, but the writers went nuts with the show. Season 2 is nothing like the first two shows.

The concept is great, but they just didn’t stick.

  6. AWTM - I love the Brits. :)

Janie - I thought last night’s episode was somewhat better, but I know what happens later on thanks to looking at the cast list on IMDB, so part of me thinks I should cut my losses now.
