Try as I might, I just can’t get into the murder mystery. *grumble* So I started reading one of my shapeshifter stories. It actually almost has a plot! :confused68: Go figure!

Anyway, I’m doing some research today so these pesky little details that are bugging the heck out of me will go away.

Horoscopes:

“You may have spent the past few weeks exploring other horizons, meeting new people, going out more frequently in the evening or even making short trips away from home. (I think they must have me confused with someone else.) But this is a moment to settle down. Today’s celestial configuration is giving you just the incentive you need to stabilize yourself. (What am I? A freaking boat, or something?) Expect some pleasurable moments in the comfort of your home. (LOL! I am SO not going there… I started to say ‘not touching that one’ but thought better of it. ;))

“This is an excellent day to spend time away from the routine. You will get more done in seclusion (Yeah, right. Except hiding away IS my routine.) today than you would if you had a team of dedicated workers assisting your current projects. A relaxed setting will be best for you to shine. (Not getting that here. We’ve got people here working on the house.)

“Your life gets ever so much easier when you stop trying to make that person fit into every single role you think you require of them. (Do they mean a person in my ‘real’ world? Or one of my many ‘fictional’ world denizens?) Let them be who they are, and see their true nature for what it is.”

  1. An actual plot? *snickering* You don’t say. :whoo:
Have fun with the research. And tell those horoscopologists to narrow that stuff down. Sheesh.

  2. I’d laugh, but there have been times where I’ve written stories that have no conflict, and been completely unaware of that fact until someone points it out… :duh:

Hang in there, Tori! You can do it…

Thanks for the encouragement over on my side of the blogosphere… back atcha!:cheer:

  4. Crystal - Don’t get too excited! I said I almost had a plot. ;)

Marianne - I can top that! When I first started writing, I had a story in first person (from the heroine’s POV), but had a flashback scene where she wasn’t even present. LOL!

    Kacey - See above.

  5. Oooh, I like your suggestion about the last horrorscope (no, that’s not a spelling mistake LOL) being about your characters:drunk:

  6. I’m with Stacy - that last one sounds like a character situation.
