You Can’t Do That On Television

Yikes! :confused68: That’s pretty scary!

Today’s horoscopes:

“Your goals involving career and finance should be within your grasp today. (Good writing day, anybody? :typing: ) Both your physical energy and your inner power are operating at their peak, ( Yeah. Right.) and therefore, if you’ve been making any plans to advance yourself this is the day to put them into action. Also, if you’ve been working to improve your health, you might see some definite results. If not, this is a great day to start a new health and exercise regimen. Go to it! (That would have been a lot easier if the DVD I ordered two weeks ago had arrived!!!)

“Shift things around at work and at home so you find yourself with a little playtime. (Work & home are the same place. And if you listened to my mom ALL my time is playtime. ) After all, there are only so many late nights and microwave meals a person can endure. (Hey, my nights are late because I. Can’t. Go. To. Sleep. And I rarely have microwave meals, thank you very much.) Now it’s time for pleasure. (Well, I can get behind that, Bad Girl that I am. ;) )

Writing. Okay. I need to work on world building. Figure out how the shapeshifting community works. I’ve got three different shapeshifter stories rattling around in my head, so it seems logical that they’re all in the same universe. And if I get that figured out now, it’ll make my life easier when I get to the other books. :)

Anyway. Stefan might even live in a renovated train station. That would be kind of cool. Provided the train doesn’t run next to it anymore. THAT would be really loud. :rocker: Trust me. I live about 3 blocks from the railroad tracks now and it’s plenty loud as it is! Not that it comes into this book at all, mind you. However, I think it gives some insight to his background.

So even though I’m not doing actual writing, per se, I’m working on the book. :)

Hey, those moments of writing without writing are the ones that give us greater insight and motivate us to continue. ALL THE BEST! – The train can come in handy and help mold that character. Sounds intersting to me, anyway.

One of my favorite writing quotes is this one:

“What no wife of a writer can ever understand is that a writer is working when he’s staring out the window.” – Rudolph Erich Rascoe

    So you’re in good company.

But, Tori… pick ONE. :typing: And then finish it. :whip:

    Really.

  3. I always have different stories rattling around in my head. It’s tough trying to concentrate on the one I’m supposed to be writing.

  5. Sunny Lyn, welcome! And thanks! I’m still working on the world-building. I think building a fantasy world from scratch would be a lot easier! :)

Marianne, yeah, Rudolph knew what he was talking about! And I’m still working on the shapeshifter book. It’s my First Draft in 30 Days project. Whether I like it or not.

Kelly, I constantly have other story temptations. It drives all my friends insane because I seem to be incapable of sticking to one thing. :)

Stacy, welcome to my world. *g*

  6. 132 shows, 3 or more episodes! Yikes.

And 57 of those I’ve seen every episode. Double Yikes!

I think I need intervention. (Oh wait, isn’t that a TV show?)

I’ll have to do this one on my blog too.
