My uncle’s horse ran last night and came in second! Very exciting! 
On a more sober note, Hollywood legend Glenn Ford has died at age 90.
I enjoyed the Bones season premiere last night. Then I watched a new show called Justice that came on afterwards. It stars Victor Garber (late of Alias fame) as the head of a ritzy criminal law firm. The show’s got an interesting twist, they don’t show you the actual crime until after the trial is over. So you don’t know if their client did it or not.
Wrote another two new longhand pages last night. BUT I also keyed in seven pages, bringing the actual mss. up to 104 pages!!! 
And I managed to escape the Doldrums and am now toodling along on the way to Dictionopolis. 
Did you ever read Norton Juster’s children’s book The Phantom Tollbooth? Remember when Milo drives his little car through the tollbooth into the Lands Beyond and starts daydreaming and not paying attention to where he’s going and ends up in the Doldrums? Somehow, I’ve managed to get there today without ever leaving the house. Go figure.
Last night’s Eureka had some great moments with Carter and his daughter Zoe. My favorite Zoe line: “We are SO broken up!”
And tonight is the season premiere of Bones! 
Love this show! It’s loosely based on the life of thriller/mystery writer Kathy Reichs’ life as a forensic anthropologist. Love her books, though the Temperance Brennan in the books isn’t much like the Tempe in the show. But that’s okay. It’s still a great show.
Wrote two pages last night. Things took another interesting twist. Guess it goes to show when things start to slow down, toss in another murder, attack, explosion, what-have-you. 
And I keyed in four pages, so now the mss. is up to 97 pages. Yes!!!

I could totally get behind a name like that. Maybe I could make her a character in another book. Hmm… Speaking of which, I only managed a page and a half last night. But I keyed in 3 pages, so the mss is up to 92 pages now. Of course, I have many, many more pages to key in.
