What is the world coming to? News from The Movable Buffet states that you will no longer be able to get a marriage license in Las Vegas 24/7. If you want to get hitched at 2:00 in the morning, you’d better plan ahead because the license bureau will be closing at midnight!

More interesting movies coming out soon are Idlewild and The Black Dahlia. Just judging by the trailer shown on TV, I think I already want the soundtrack of the former. Love 1930s jazz/jitterbug music. :dancingfool: As to the latter, it’s based on a true crime story from Hollywood. In 1947, aspiring actress Beth Short was brutally murdered. Gruesomely murdered. It’s not a story I dwell on much because it’s so damn creepy. To get the full story, just google the phrase “the Black Dahlia” and you’ll get over 2.5 million hits. :confused68: Why so many, you may ask. Because it’s considered the most infamous cold case in American history. Anyway, the movie stars Josh Hartnett, Aaron Eckhart, Scarlett Johansson, and Hilary Swank and was directed by Brian DePalma.

And in other Hollywood news, Paramount Pictures has severed its ties with Tom Cruise, citing his recent erratic behavior.

Last night’s Eureka was absolutely delightful! This show just gets better and better!!!

Hold on to your hats, kids! I wrote three pages AGAIN last night!!! :whoo: Blew my mind!!! Stacy met the housekeeper, a very nice woman who’s quite fond of Stefan & Janos. She’s highly amused at the way Stacy bosses Janos around (he’s being very recalcitrant about taking it easy since he’s only been out of the hospital less than 24 hours). Anyway, he and Stacy fuss and bicker like brother and sister. And, really, there’s nothing more annoying than a sulky shapeshifter.

    Yunno… I’ve heard that before…

Great job on the writing! Keep it up.

Now I don’t want to wait to watch Eureka (I have to find a time when DD is in bed and DH doesn’t have control of the TV… these times are few and far between).

    Have a great day!

  2. Wasn’t Eureka wonderful! I loved Zoe’s eyes when her dad was kissing Eugenia. And tthe two old guys assuring her she didn’t break up her parents. Best of all is the tension between Alison and JAck. Kiss for luck. Bwhaha!

I’m so proud you’re moving along on your story.

Watched Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. That was definitely entertaining.
I need to make a character with his wit.

Um…hey. How’s about writing a couple of pages for me?

  4. Marianne, Eureka is such an excellent show!

Mandy, I think this was the best episode yet! So many wonderful things in it! I think I’ll have to watch it again on Friday when it repeats (it is Fridays, right?).

Crystal, your new job is really messing with your TV viewing memory! I knew I should have emailed you!
