That’s the title of the song currently playing on The Beat—Sirius Satellite Channel 36 (aka the Dance Hits channel
). Anyway, it sounded rather apt for me, too.
Did you guys hear the news story about the World War One soldier who was finally buried yesterday? Private Francis Lupo was one of the 116,000 Americans killed during that war. He was killed July 21, 1918, but was only hastily buried at the time. Lupo’s remains were discovered in 2003 by a French archaeologist along with the remains of another soldier who’d died that same day. Lupo’s wallet was found with his remains, so they had a preliminary ID, but it’s taken the last three years to make a positive one. He was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday.

Loved last night’s Eureka! (Isn’t that a surprise?) Next week is the season finale for the show.
On the other hand, that’ll make my Tuesday nights a little easier since Veronica Mars will be running in that time slot.
Tonight will be fairly busy. We’ve got Bones, Jericho, Criminal Minds, Lost (a recap show so we’ll be up to speed for next week’s premiere), CSI: NY, and Kidnapped.
On the writing
front, the manuscript is now up to 243 pages!!!
Keep going on the pages! i really think I need a Tivo. I don’t watch that much TV, but it seems like the shows I would like to watch or at least try out clash with my faves.
