Last night, I watched the new show Jericho>. Wow!!! What an awesome show! Creepy. Realistic (at least I could see all that happening). A most excellent, highly recommended show! I hope the upcoming episodes are as good as the pilot.

Tonight, I have Survivor, Deal or No Deal, and Murder City. Plus, the season premiere of CSI. I thought about catching Shark, but I really don’t need another legal drama. My TV plate’s getting way too full (and so are my DVD-RW discs. *g*).

On the writing front, the manuscript is now up to 224 pages!!! :whoo:

While I’m still plugging away on the shapeshifter book, my heart still lies (lays?) with the 1920s murder mystery. Stay with me here, this could get long. Or not. We’ll see. :) Though I haven’t worked on my family history for quite some time, I’ve still, for the past several years, subscribed to some of Ancestry’s databases (like the census and newspapers). And I just found out this morning that they now have the birth, death, and marriage indexes for the Los Angeles Times from 1881 to 1985. How cool is that??? I could send my characters to famous people’s weddings if I was so inclined! Or at least have them talk about who had a baby or got married. This could be mucho fun!

Speaking of the 1920s, one of the categories in today’s episode of Jeopardy! was “Legends of the Silent Screen”. I aced it! *beam*

About last night’s TV viewing… Deal or No Deal was exciting as usual. I recorded NCIS, Standoff and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Eureka was fun and cute and quirky. I love this show so much. But tell me, those of you who watch, does it seem like they’re showing episodes out of order? And then there was Smith. I really, really wanted to like this show. I mean, it has Ray Liotta and Virginia Madsen, for cryiin’ out loud. But, the truth is, I really disliked the whole show. The only thing I really liked about it was the cool cars. Sad, huh?

On tonight’s playlist is Bones, and the premieres of two new shows: Jericho and Kidnapped. The former I’m really curious about, the latter, not so much. But we shall see. On the plus side it has Dana Delaney and Timothy Hutton.

On the writing front, my manuscript is up to 219 pages!!!! :whoo:

It’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day! So break out your Inner Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, or Keira Knightley, raise yer mug o’ grog and join the fun! To learn more about it, visit the official Talk Like a Pirate website.

My pirate name is:
Bloody Bess Flint

Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it’s the open sea. For others (the masochists), it’s the food. For you, it’s definitely the fighting. Like the rock flint, you’re hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you’re easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

Tonight’s TV fun…. Another episode of Deal or No Deal (it’s on four times this week), Eureka, Standoff, and the new show Smith (about a bunch of bank robbers and starring the inimitable Ray Liotta). Guess which show I will be watching “live”.

I wrote three pages in longhand yesterday which I’m hoping works out to at least five pages once I key it in. We shall see. :)
