I saw an ad last night for a new Ben Stiller movie called Night at the Museum. Now I can take or leave Mr. Stiller. But this movie looks so fun! Here’s a quick plot summary:

A bumbling security guard at the Museum of Natural History accidentally lets loose an ancient curse that causes the animals and insects on display to come to life and wreak havoc.

A quote from the movie trailer: “Larry: [hiding in elevator in the museum] This is so not worth $11.50 an hour.” No, I imagine not.

Back to first run episodes tonight on TV. :whoo: I’ll be watching Deal or No Deal, Heroes, and CSI: Miami, and I’ll be recording another three hour block of Threshold. We must be getting close to the end of the series now. *sigh* It was a most excellent show, it’s too bad CBS screwed it over with their stupid scheduling fiasco.

Anyway. Writing. Worked on the shapeshifter book a bit last night. Found some spots there near the end that really need work. Oops. :chainsaw: I think I must have been running out of steam by then.

  1. Yeah. Night at the Museum has made my must see list as well. How can I resist a skeletal T Rex running amok?

  2. Mandy, not to mention Robin Williams as a wax replica of Teddy Roosevelt. *g*

  3. Sometimes it’s hard to give the pieces near the end of the finish line the attention they need the first time around.

  4. You know, I swear I saw previews for that movie when I was living in Mississippi…two years ago. My husband said the same thing! It’s weird. I’m wondering if it got held up massively in production somewhere.

  5. Oooooooooooooo

Movie sounds good. Haven’t seen a preview yet, but I may spring for full price at the box office.
