I completely forgot some other things for which I’m thankful. So I’ll share them now. Just like you guys are actually interested.

Diet Coke!!! (I could NOT function without it.)

iTunes (what a fabulous way to get music!)

Ancestry.com (because they make genealogy and historical research so easy).

We had another celebrity death. Big band singer Anita O’Day. She was 87. She sang with such bandleaders as Gene Krupa, Woody Herman, and Stan Kenton.

On TV tonight: Ghost Whisperer and Numb3rs. The Sci Fi Channel is showing disaster movies all day. Those could be fun, too. But right now I’m watching The Avengers on BBC America.

I’m still plugging along with the shapeshifter book. Which STILL needs a title. *sigh*

It’s Thanksgiving today here in the U.S. So, here are some things I’m thankful for:

My writing group pals.

All the fellow bloggers I’ve met this past year.

My other friends around the world.

My family (even when they drive me insane).

All the wonderful books and authors I’ve discovered this past year.

My beautiful, wonderful iBook.

Email! I’d be lost without my connection to the world.

Surviving April’s tornado relatively unscathed.

Our new house and less noisy neighbors.

Dish Network! Without whom I wouldn’t have BBC America and Sirius Satellite Radio.

My shapeshifter book which is getting closer and closer to being completely and thoroughly finished (at least until an agent or editor tells me it needs to be fixed)!

On a more frivolous note, here are some things I’d love to be thankful for

A limo with a really hot chauffeur.

A megayacht.

A private jet.

A never-ending string of NYT bestsellers!

A mansion with my own private library. One of those two-story types with rolling ladders and spiral stairs to the second level.

A stable of racehorses. And other horses, too.

A private island.

Tonight on TV I’ll be watching Smallville (Hmm. Looks like it might be a rerun.), Survivor, Deal or No Deal, and CSI (with guest star Roger Daltry of The Who—who happen to sing the show’s theme song).

Still reading through the shapeshifter book. I think my ’shifters need to shift more. So far, they haven’t done much with the ability. Oh well, that’s something to fix in the rewrites.

Gosh, where did the day go? I’ve usually posted long before now! Or at least thought about it. *g*

Not much going on here. It’s sunny and relatively warm. All things considered. Supposed to be 61 tomorrow.

Tonight on TV I’ll be watching Jericho, Criminal Minds and CSI: NY.

Still plodding along on the read-through. Which reminds me I need to print out another chapter to work on tonight…
