I can’t believe I forgot to post yesterday! All I can say is I got distracted trying to figure out what was on my spiffy new satellite channels for the upcoming week. I decided to upgrade to the next package on Friday. It was like Christmas all over again!
Anyway. Happy New Year’s Eve! Something else I can’t believe is it’s being almost 2007! Where does the time go?!
From Astrology for Writers, Editors & Filmmakers:
- 2007 is the year of the Pig. Pigs are lucky and love power. 2007 will be a year of the charming and fortunate power hungry-ites and their rise to the top and conversely, their tumbling from favor. Whomever is on top as of Jan. 1 ’07 is subject to being persona non-grata before the year is out. Another way of saying it: Those who are new to fame and fortune in 2007 may not have it for long.
That sounds rather ominous. Not sure I care for that outlook at all! I wonder what the other sites have to say about the new year?
Here’s a fun meme (the ones I’ve done are in bold italics):
- 1. Used real snow to make/eat a snow cone (Well, not a snow cone exactly. We used to make snow cream.
- 2. Slept in your car while parked at the side of the road
- 3. Didn’t go to bed until 4 in the morning on New Year’s Day
- 4. Dyed an Easter egg, using all the colours available
- 5. Caught a scent on the air that reminded you of something from your childhood
- 6. Taken a picture of the sky because it was a remarkable shade of blue that day (I did this a lot when I lived in Arizona.)
- 7. Caught a fish and cleaned it yourself, then cooked it for dinner (Okay, the only part of this I’ve actually done is the catching part. I loved to fish as long as I didn’t have to bait the hook or take the fish off the hook.
)- 8. Wished you bought two pairs of your favourite shoes
- 9. Made a list like this
- 10. Taken art lessons (Does taking them at school count?)
- 11. Taken ballet lessons
- 12. Driven a really scary stretch of road
- 13. Read a book from cover to cover in one sitting (I do this a lot!)

- 26. Howled in the car with your kids (Well, I don’t have kids, but I have howled in my car. It’s hard not to when you’re driving along and this HUGE full moon rises up over the mountains.)
- 27. Loved someone so much your heart hurt
- 28. Painted a house Interior or exterior?

)- 44. Made good friends via the Internet (LOL! Only, like, 99% of them!)
- 45. Met a movie star (Movie stars, TV stars, music stars, famous athletes. One of the many things I loved about living in Tucson way back when. Lots of celebrity events with little security, so you could just walk up and start talking to them.)
