We’re in the midst of that slump between Christmas and New Year’s. Nothing much gets done and all I really want right now is a nap… I’ve spent the better part of the day thus far spending my Christmas money/gift card. I’m buying books, of course. But it’s so time consuming! You have to figure out which books you want, then find them on the website where you’re shopping, yada yada yada. My hands are tired!
There’s absolutely NOTHING on tonight, so I’ll be watching recorded stuff. Last night I watched Eleventh Hour and A Boyfriend for Christmas which was a cute little romance.
Still trying to figure out my goals for 2007. I guess the main thing is get the shapeshifter story polished and shipped off somewhere.
I’m not quite sure what Boxing Day is, but it’s celebrated in the United Kingdom and Canada on the day after Christmas. Of course, I don’t live either place, but what the heck.
It’s pretty quiet around the ‘Net and Blogosphere which isn’t surprising during the holidays, I guess. Not much on TV tonight either. Which is a good thing, I guess, since we’re having company.
Then again, I’m not having one of my better days, so I may end up calling it an early night and go hide. I’ve always got stuff recorded I can watch. Plus the DVDs I got for Christmas! Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and the first season of Remington Steele! Fun!!!
Need to start working on my writing goals for 2007.
Ack!
I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas is having a lovely day today. It’s been a good day here. Except for the rain.
We could do without that.
One sad bit of news, James Brown, the “Godfather of Soul” died early today. He was 73.
I watched the last part of The Lost Room last night. I was kind of disappointed in the ending. Seemed like they left a lot unexplained which annoyed me a good deal. Oh well. I kept thinking how I’d write it, so maybe some day I can do my own version.
Tonight is Deal or No Deal, Eleventh Hour (the last one for this round), A Boyfriend for Christmas, and 1 vs 100.
Right now I’m watching a figure skating marathon on ESPN Classic. Up right now is the 1988 World Pro Championship. And I’m
because one of the announcers was commenting on how Kitty & Peter Carruthers program is “fun, not romantic”. Well, it would be kind of creepy if it was romantic since they’re brother and sister!!! Hello? LOL!
Still reading through Relic Hunter Chick. She’s fun.
