It’s time for a meme/quiz!

You paid attention during 91% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don’t get scores that high! Good show, old chap!

Do you deserve your high school diploma?

I actually did better at this than I expected given my lack of skill or interest in geometry and/or science.

Wrote about a page and a half last night. :whoo:

I’m having one of those brain-dead days today. *sigh* Oh well. And I’m still hobbling around which is getting REALLY old.

On the local news, we had a story about a pizza delivery dude who was robbed at gunpoint. The thieves took $100 and four pizzas! Then we had another story about a guy who removed a window air conditioner from a church building, went inside found a package of hot dogs in the fridge, ate them and a can of beans, then left.

I started reading the most entertaining book last night. The Looking-Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. It’s the real story of Alice in Wonderland. ;) According to this novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass were nothing but lies. Alice is really Princess Alyss Heart of Wonderland who is transported via the Pool of Tears to Victorian England when her Aunt Redd overthrows the queendom of Wonderland. The Mad Hatter is actually Hatter Madigan, Royal Bodyguard. The White Rabbit? He’s really Bibwit Harte, Alyss’s tutor. And the Cheshire Cat is an assassin who works for Redd Heart. Not a nice cat at all!

It’s a very clever book (the first of a trilogy) and I’m enjoying it a lot. Even if devout Lewis Carroll fans find it offensive. I think it’s great fun! :)

Watched my recording of 24 last night. Kind of a boring episode, over all. But I sure didn’t expect the Bluetooth guy from last season to be Jack’s brother!!! Wow. And how did that geeky little creep get such a hot wife???

I wrote about 2/3 of a page yesterday. Once I found my synopsis I was annoyed to discover I went way off base the other day so I need to back up and regroup. :cursin:

As you know, Bob, ;) I love funny commercials. And one that makes me giggle a lot these days is the one from Jackson-Hewitt Tax Service (these may be
regional, I’m not sure). One of their customers is Zorro who has to fight off a villain while waiting for his taxes to be done. *g* Just the notion of Zorro getting a W2 makes me laugh. They’ve also got one with Ghost Rider as a customer. He inadvertantly keeps setting fire to stuff on the tax dude’s desk.

Loved last night’s Heroes. Need to watch 24 but there are a bunch of old murder mysteries on Turner Classic Movies today. Maybe I’ll catch up on 24 tonight since I have no interest in watching the president’s State of the Union address. I’d rather watch Veronica Mars which is finally back to new episodes and then I’ll watch 24.

I wrote about half a page last night. I need to dig out my synopsis for this particular story. It’s a book I actually HAVE a synopsis for. What a concept!
