I flipped on the TV this morning and found 100 Greatest Songs of the 80s on VH1 Classic. Fun! But, boy oh boy, some of these people have gotten really OLD since then!
Today’s horoscope:
You’re beginning to see what’s next in the grand scheme of your life, and you like it, you really like it. It’s time to share your amazing energy with the world. Think about throwing a celebratory shindig.
Okay, something I’ll really, really like, huh? Seven figure book contract? Power Ball win? One of my heroes will come to life and take me away from all this? C’mon! I need more details here!
I didn’t do any writing yesterday. The lack of sleep really kicked my butt. But I got about seven hours of sleep last night, so I’ll very likely get something accomplished today.
On TV night: Jericho, Lost, Deal or No Deal, and CSI: New York.
I have had a whopping 2 hours of sleep. I am tired. I am in pain. And I am not happy. I hope I can get a nap later on.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Last night’s Heroes was AWESOME!!!!!!! The best episode yet, IMO. I didn’t want it to end. Who would have ever guessed that HRG was a good guy! Well, at least where Claire is concerned. Now we have Eric Roberts as one of the Evil Masterminds. So many things happened in this episode I can’t remember them all! (Especially in my sleep-deprived state.) Oh! Hiro’s dad is one of the bad guys! Wonder how Hiro will feel about that when he finds out?
OKAY, SPOILERS OVER
By now, you’ve probably heard all the hoopla (dare I call it a media circus?) over the James Cameron documentary that’ll be airing on Discovery this weekend, I believe. He claims a tomb found in Jerusalem in 1980 (and why has it taken this long for any of this to come to light???) contained the ossuaries (stone coffin type things) and bones of Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene, and their son Judah. Well. Even the archaeologist who discovered the tomb thinks that’s all nonsense. The name Mary was just as common/popular then as it is now. And the names Jesus and Judah were common, too! So… you’ll forgive me if I think James Cameron is full of it.
Of course, I’ll probably still watch the program. *g* I’m always up for a good archaeological mystery.
I wrote about 3/4 of a page last night. The villain was mean. The heroine was stubborn (at least until she passed out). Of course, it was easy for her to be stubborn. She doesn’t realize she knows the answers to the questions he keeps asking her. Unfortunately, he doesn’t believe her. Once the hero rescues her and she recovers from what the villain did to her, they will wreak vengeance on the villain’s ass.
He will so be toast!
From Wired, there’s a report of a mugging victim in Brazil who was shot at. Only the bullet hit his MacBook Pro laptop computer. And it STILL works. I think Apple should use this for promotional purposes.
Busy TV night since it’s Monday. Heroes and 24 being the best. Okay, the latter is mostly the best to poke fun at as you watch, but still.
Plus there’s CSI: Miami and Deal or No Deal.
I wrote a whole page last night.
My poor heroine is being held captive and subjected to massive amounts of drugs by the villain. She’s not a happy camper. Then again, he’s not too happy either because she’s not telling him what he wants to know. *g*
