I rarely remember my dreams these days, but last night (early this morning?) I dreamed I was an assistant on the TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. What chaotic fun! :) The only problem was on this edition, the family was underfoot for the entire show! I’d run to the library to research something and the mother was there, but when she left, she took the car I’d come in. Ack! So I had to bum a ride from this random chick who really only wanted to score with Ty Pennington. I did not encourage her in this endeavor. I just got her address so I could send her a thank you card later.

However, EM:HE is pre-empted tonight for the Academy Awards. Not sure I’ll watch that. Also on the agenda is The Dresden Files and Battlestar Galactica. The rest of the day will be taken up by my British murder mysteries. :)

Last night I watched a movie I’d recorded almost a year ago: Because of Winn-Dixie. What a darling movie!!! If you need a funny, feel-good movie, watch this one. It’s adorable!

Today’s horoscope:

This period is full of difficulties and you will tend to question yourself today. You will start thinking about your personality. Your ego will be harmed today! You will have the greatest difficulties turning your intentions in real life actions. Your great sensitivity prevents you from materializing your ideas…

Hmm. That doesn’t sound very conducive to writing, does it? I’ll have to work hard to prove them wrong.

Okay, there’s no mountain around here, but we do have plenty of thunder. And rain. :drowning: Fairly stormy weather which I could just as soon live without, thankyouverymuch. Oh well, as long as we’re not treated to another tornado, I won’t complain…. Much. ;)

I wrote about 2/3 of a page last night on the EBTKSB. *g*

Since it’s Friday and I wanted to borrow Colleen’s Thursday 13 for today, I guess I’ll do Friday 14 or some such.

So, without further ado, here are 14 Things I’ve Researched for My Books:

    3. Greek mythology
    4. King Arthur and the Knighs of the Round Table
    5. The Knights Templar and all the legends surrounding them
    6. Cajun French (the language, I mean)
    7. What happens to a person going through detox
    8. Gunshot wounds
    9. The movie industry in 1920s Hollywood
    10. The legend of Prester John
    11. The British Empire and peerage
    12. Slang (1920s, British, Civil War, etc.)
    13. Spies and law enforcement
    14. Planes, trains, and automobiles… oh, and yachts, too

Well, it’s Friday. Very busy night on TV. Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, Las Vegas, Psych, and three episodes of Special Unit 2.

Wrote a couple of sentences of notes on the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Book last night. :typing:
