Today, here in the U.S. we’re celebrating the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Of course, “celebrating” is probably not the best choice of words. Why, you may ask? Because we “celebrate” by having lots and lots of sales in the stores.
I dunno. That just seems a tad disrespectufl, you know?
Tonight on TV there’s 24, Heroes (Claire confronts her adopted dad!
), and CSI: Miami. Fun stuff!
On the writing front, I’m still buried in the mess that is Everything But the Kitchen Sink. *g*
It’s Sunday and that means British murder mysteries on Biography! And you know they can’t solve any of their cases without my help. ;)
Then later tonight, there’s The Dresden Files and Battlestar Galactica, along with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition which is in Austin, Texas this week. My old stomping grounds, so I’d watch it even if I didn’t normally watch it.
Last night I didn’t write much, but I started going through all the paperwork, etc. I have on one of my ideas. That’s where the mayhem and magic come in. Lots of both in that story. I have LOTS of notes on this one, but when I worked on it before it had everything but the kitchen sink. I think I need to de-mess-ify it. (Yes, I know that’s not really a word.
)
Those jerks in Mexico are still campaigning to get Dwayne “Dog” Chapman extradited on kidnapping charges. The man goes to Mexico to bring back that scumbag convicted rapist Andrew Luster and they want to charge The Dog??? If they’d done their job he wouldn’t have had to go down there to get the bastard! This pisses me off on so many levels. (Like you couldn’t tell.
)
Anyway. Onward.
I put RHC & Co. in time-out and wrote a page and a half of synopsis for one of my other messes. Go, me!
*g* That was much more fun. And, Melissa, you’ll be glad to know it was the spy formerly known as Krycek story. ;)
