I just read on my CNN email news briefs that some dry food has now been added to the pet food recall list. So all of you with pets, please keep checking the list!
Last night Identity and Raines were on. I did not get to see them. And our cable company has two NBC stations! One was off the air for some unknown reason. The other aired a baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and their farm team the Memphis Redbirds. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t bother me because I like baseball. But not when it interferes with my regular TV viewing! So I had to record both shows which supposedly came on at 2:00 in the morning.
Anyway, since I couldn’t watch what I wanted, I channel surfed some (saw the last half of Hannah Montana and the first half of Corey in the House on the Disney Channel), then watched the other episode of 1000 Places to See Before You Die that I’d recorded. This episode was set in Alaska and was absolutely gorgeous! I’ll have to add those locations to my personal list. Not that I’m likely to see most of the places on my list since I have a tough time traveling just to the doctor’s office, but a girl can dream.
And we won’t even discuss writing because I didn’t do any.
Bad Tori!
So, last night Survivor was on. I really wanted Lisi to get booted off, but I have to admit I wasn’t sorry to see Rocky go. He was almost as annoying. And I had to laugh at Boo on the other team talking about how they need to get rid of Yau-Man because he’s the weakest member of the team. Hello? :waving: He’s better at almost everything than you, Boo!
And I have one small comment about CSI. Not last night’s episode in particular, but just in general. Why do they NEVER turn the lights on at the crime scenes??? They always go through with flashlights. How do they expect to find any clues in the flippin’ dark???
I also watched an episode of the new Travel Channel show 1000 Places to See Before You Die. It’s based on a book by the same name. I’ve been keeping a list of places for about a year now. I’ve got 629 places on my list, so far, of places I want to see. I’ve actually only been to about 15 of those. So I’ve got my work cut out for me. *g*
News from National Geographic:
New Cat Breed Has Tiger Dreams
It really does look an awful lot like a miniature tiger!
I wrote a whole sentence last night. Excitement galore!
Most people don’t make a big deal out of typos online. I know I don’t. But sometimes I just can’t help myself. I was checking my stats this morning and discovered somebody visited my blog in search of the “fifth CYCLONE” from Battlestar Galactica. If this was you and you’re reading this, I’m sorry for pointing it out, but it did make me giggle this morning when I sorely needed one.
I am so tired of being sick. The sinus crap started clearing up, but now I’ve got the Cough from Hell. Just shoot me
now. I’d really appreciate it. As much as I hate the sinus crap, I think I’d rather deal with it than hacking up my lungs. (Sorry for that awful visual.)
My favorite horoscope for today:
You will find that listening has never been easier, as an entertaining and knowledgeable person is happy to advance your wisdom. The pieces to a mysterious puzzle are starting to fall into place.
Beats the heck out of the one that said my sensitive nature was going to be sorely tested today and I really ought to just stay in bed.
So. Lost. What did those of you who watch think about last night’s episode? Are Nikki and Paolo gonna be able to dig themselves out? Not that I really care. We never saw enough of either of them this season to much care about what happened to either of them. I want to know what’s happened to Rose and Bernard! They’ve been missing all this season! Next week looks fun, though. Cat fight
between Kate and Juliet!
I forgot to post about it yesterday, but I did something on Tuesday I’d never done before. I watched Dancing with the Stars. And I enjoyed it! I was quite startled at how good Joey Fatone (did I spell that right?) was. But I’m rooting for Apollo Anton Ohno.
I’ve loved him ever since I first saw him in the Olympics. And Laila Ali was awesome, too! And I guess the most surprising of the really good dancers is Heather Mills. No matter what you think of her personally, she’s doing a darn good job of proving that people with disabilities CAN kick butt on the dance floor.
When she did that back walkover, I think EVERYONE was totally stunned!
Writing. Yes, well. It’s hard to concentrate when you’re couging your head off. (I need a coughing smilie…..)
