What is up with television executives? Do they TRY to piss off viewers? The Powers That Be at Fox have already canceled Drive. After THREE episodes!!! What happened to giving shows a chance to build an audience??? Sheesh.

Anyway, tonight I’ll be watching & recording Deal or No Deal, Dancing with the Stars, 24, Heroes, CSI: Miami, and Waking the Dead.

I took a break from the fairy tale last night (yeah, I know, I know!) and worked on the synopsis/outline for the Krycek book. That’ll make Melissa happy. *g*

Next Saturday, May 5th, is the Kentucky Derby. I’ve been really slack about paying any attention to the contenders this year. So I think I’ll hang out on TVG (TV Gaming) or HRTV (Horse Racing TV—yes, I get TWO channels on satellite that show nothing but horse racing, well, that and infomercials  ) today and see who’s who and what’s what. :) Not that I know much about handicaps and all the other technical jargon. I usually just go by the names that tickle my fancy. :)

Watched four hours of recorded shows last night. The last Silent Witness for this season, and the first Waking the Dead. Both shows are part of BBC America’s Mystery Mondays.

Tonight I’ll be watching/recording Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Blood Ties, Dead Famous: Ghostly Encounters (I got hooked on this last week  and possibly Cold Case.

I took the night off from writing last night. Sue me. *g*

I’m bored. And I can’t think of anything to talk about today. So sad.

Last night’s Stargate shows were kind of fun. Painkiller Jane was confusing, though. I never had a straight understanding of just what the Neuro they were after did or how he did it. Oh well.

Robin Hood and Wild at Heart are on tonight, but I’ll record them later on their second showing and I’ll catch up on some stuff I already have recorded. I’m way behind! And a Midsomer Murders I haven’t seen is on this afternoon.

Wrote about one page last night on the fairy tale. During the feast after the tournament, the Princess replied to something her uncle said by saying, “Far be it from me to fly in the face of tradition.” Which immediately caused her Beloved Knight to choke on his mead. When he stopped coughing he whispered to her that she was such a liar. She wasn’t offended by this because it was true. *g* She’s a most unconventional princess.
