Today’s horoscope:

Your ability to work under pressure will impress someone. However, if you are alone this afternoon, it could become one of those days when nothing gets done. Ordinary household chores will seem like monumental tasks as the day drags on.

LOL! What else is new? *g*

It was great to have Heroes back last night. I’d seen the previews where Mohinder told Claire’s grandma that Peter was dead. I knew that couldn’t last given he’d absorbed Claire’s talent. I’m glad Claire figured it out. :) Of course, if she hadn’t, surely somebody would have pulled that glass out of his head eventually. And I can’t say I was all that broken up that Isaac died. I was sorry that Sylar got his power, though. He didn’t, however, get his talent as a painter. And that shapeshifter chick is really starting to annoy me. Oh, and I loved my darling Hiro running into his future self at Isaac’s old studio!

Tonight we have a new episode of NCIS and the ever-present Dancing With the Stars.

I wrote about a page on the fairy tale last night. Tonight, I suspect the princess’ beloved knight will knock the block off the Evil Duke. Of course, this will only make the ED more determined to get rid of the competition. I need to read up on tournaments. I’m sure there will be lots of opportunity for underhanded deceitfulness. LOL! As opposed to obvious and open deceit. *g*

Today, in addition to being St. George’s Day in the United Kingdom, is also the day celebrated as William Shakespeare’s birthday. So, happy 443rd, Bill! :streamer:

Good Blood Ties last night. Busy, busy night tonight in TV land (not to be confused with TVLand the channel *g*). Drive, Deal or No Deal, Dancing with the Stars (though I may just watch the results show tomorrow instead), Waking the Dead, 24, Heroes (hallelujah! :whoo: ), CSI: Miami, Cities of the Underworld, and Illuminating Angels & Demons. Whew! Something’s gonna have to give.

I wrote about half a page on the fairy tale last night. The princess has bestowed her favor on her beloved knight which annoyed to no end the Evil Duke who wants to marry her. She doesn’t trust him any farther than she could throw a draft horse (as she put it). She told him last night when he muttered some very uncomplimentary things about her, “Don’t piss off the Princess.” Very good advice, I’d say.

One thing I love about spring/summer is I can leave the lights off for longer periods of time because the angle of the sun is such that my bedroom is brighter. That saves some energy. Though I’m not sure it exactly saves that much since we also run the a/c. I always try to buy recycled printer paper. I’d prefer shopping at stores that use recycled paper bags than plastic, though the plastic ones come in handy for trash (better yet, though, use your own canvas shopping bags—er, for shopping not trash  ). But there aren’t many stores around here that offer that option. There isn’t much in the way of public transportation around here either.

What do you do to help the environment?

Today’s horoscope:

Today you might feel an overwhelming physical attraction to a new person—even if you’re already involved. Also, an unusual stroke of luck could bring some extra money your way. It could be an unexpected bonus, or a sale of some kind, or simply a gift. The temptation to spend it all at once could well arise—and if you don’t need it for routine expenses, go for it! You deserve a reward!

To coin a phrase… Show me the money! :) What would I buy with an unexpected windfall? Books, of course! Okay, maybe some other stuff. Depends on how big a windfall it is.

Tonight on TV, we have new episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Deal or No Deal, and Blood Ties.

I took last night off from writing. Though I did key in some changes to the shapeshifter book and send the second chapter off to my writers’ group. :)
