Once upon a time (in 2005 to be precise) there lived an author named Shanna Swendson who had the first book in a new series released entitled Enchanted Inc. I devoured this book. This is what I had to say about it at the time. THIS was what (and how) I wanted to write. A fun, fresh fantasy. (I’m not there yet but I’m trying!)
Then last year, the second book, Once Upon Stilettos, made its appearance. (Here’s what I had to say at the time.) Still fun and fresh and wonderful. The characters are delightful and, at the risk of repeating myself, fun. 
I want to meet them in person! Okay, I’d probably freak at the weirdness, but that’s beside the point. It was an excellent follow-up.
Today is the official release of book number three, Damsel Under Stress. If the post office will deign to deliver it soon I will be a Very Happy Camper. I don’t normally pre-order books, so this gives you an idea of how anxious I am to read it. 
I. Want. It. Now.
Anyway, this is a series I can read over and over and over again. In fact, this is probably the only series I can re-read within a month of having read it before. That’s how much I love it.
Have I intrigued you yet? If not, why not? Get thee to a bookstore and buy them!

I read the first book, but haven’t had a chance to read the second. I’ll have to see if the library has it!

I felt the same way as you about Enchanted, Inc. It *is* the type of urban fantasy/chick lit book I want to write. Just a matter of getting it done. So many books, so little time!
