Like the one I fell into yesterday. *g* Actually, I just decided to take the day off from both writing and blogging. It’s hard sitting at my desk and keeping my foot/ankle elevated. But it’s also hard sitting in a more comfortable spot and putting my laptop on my lap. My legs always seem to go to sleep when I try that.

Anyway. Watched Spiderman 2 last night. I’d recorded it over a year ago, so I thought it was about time to actually watch it. It was fun.

Last night, I started re-reading my Mary Stewart books. Read Madam, Will You Talk? last night. And started My Brother Michael.

And I realized something. My Alex in the Kitchen Sink Book is somewhat similar to some of the heroes in Stewart’s books. Very alpha. He’d give the earth and moon to protect Maddie (not that she’s incapable of protecting herself—she’s not much of a Stewart heroine *g*). Strong. Sometimes comes across as the silent type, though he’s not with Maddie or his friends. Definitely dangerous. In fact, rather like Lord Byron, Alex could be considered mad, bad, and dangerous to know. :)

There’s nothing on TV tonight until after 10pm when I’ll be recording Dead Famous, so it’ll be recorded stuff again tonight. I think I’ll go with the first three episodes of Threshold which I recorded awhile back. I’m in the mood for something skiffy.

  1. How’s is your ankle? When or do you have to go back to see if it’s healing?

  2. I’m really enjoying the tv lull to catch up on series on DVD and stuff.

I consider Spiderman 2 the best comic book movie ever made. Spiderman 3 was a vast disappointment.

Sounds like you have a fair grasp on your characters.

  3. Your characters sound quite interesting! I can’t stand the insipid tstl heroines myself. Good going making one who can take care of herself.

Sorry to hear the foot is still bothering you. When do you return to the Doctor and find if it’s healed?

Enjoy Threshold. I liked it too, hate they canceled it!
