You know when you get those emails from Amazon that start out “We’ve noticed that customers who have expressed interest in….”? I got one this morning saying because I showed an in interest in the movie The Moon-Spinners (the Hayley Mills movie based Mary Stewart’s book) that I might also be interested in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western). :confused68: What??? The only thing they have in common is being made in the 1960s!

I received a comment on my post about Shanna Swendson’s Damsel Under Stress and I realized I never told you guys how much I enjoyed reading it! And I’m now anxiously awaiting book four in the series. I’m also seriously annoyed with the publisher for passing on book five. How dare they!

Loved the outcome of last night’s Dancing with the Stars!!! :dancingfool: I was rooting for Apolo, so I was thrilled that he won.

Tonight, we have the two-hour season finale of Lost. And that’s pretty much it. *g* Everything else is reruns. Tomorrow, I can start catching up on all the stuff I have recorded. Whew!

I wrote about two pages last night. I’m kind of in a slump, though. It feels like I’m writing just for the sake of having said I wrote. It’s not anything that really accomplishes anything. *sigh*

Or does Gordon Brown, the dude in Britain who’s considered the most likely replacement for Tony Blair, look an awful lot like Terry Jones from the Monty Python group?

Gosh, where to begin? It seems a fair number of people thought it was a weak ending for this volume. But I thought it was an absolutely awesome season finale!!! Peter was totally hot (and that was before he went totally nuclear! ). I loved how Claire escaped her grandmother and Nathan.

And what IS Grandma’s deal, anyway? I’m starting to wonder if she’s the one Molly said she couldn’t think about because they (whoever “they” are) could see her. I know she’s started to creep me out even more than Sylar. Who apparently isn’t dead. Bummer. But at least he wasn’t able to absorb Claire’s regenerating ability.

And surprisingly D.L. is still alive and kicking despite a bullet to the gut. And so is Parkman after taking FOUR rounds to the chest.

We learned Claire’s adopted dad’s real name! Noah. Maybe he needs to build an ark for all the heroes. *g*

Then there’s my darling Hiro. He saved Ando from Sylar and got him back to Tokyo. Ando told him he looked bad-ass. LOL! Then he popped back to NYC, stabbed Sylar who as a final act before konking out was to fling Hiro towards a skyscraper. And when Hiro finally crashed to earth, he was in 1671 Kyoto, Japan smack dab in the middle of the beginning of a samurai battle and the onset of a full solar eclipse.

Meanwhile, back in current day NYC, Peter’s about to go nuclear, Claire can’t quite bring herself to shoot him, when Daddy Nathan flies in and tells her he’ll take care of it. He gives a little speech (like they’ve got time for that!) then grabs Peter and flies up into wild blue yonder (well, except it’s nighttime). I do wonder why Peter didn’t fly off himself. Then again, that’s one talent he never seemed to quite get a handle on.

Anyway. We know Hiro will be back next season. :whoo: But questions remain. Will Claire go into hiding with Daddy Noah & her adopted family? Did Nathan survive the nuclear explosion? Did Peter survive exploding? And if Nathan didn’t, will Peter survive re-entry into earth’s atmoshpere? Will Parkman survive being shot (can you call it being shot when the bullets were thrown into your body?)? To learn the answers to these questions, tune in this fall! :)

Tonight we have the season finales of NCIS, Veronica Mars, a repeat of last night’s season finale of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (which I skipped last night), and the season finale results show of Dancing with the Stars.

Have you guys seen the ads for the new CBS reality show Pirate Master? Maybe it’s just me, but wouldn’t it have been fun to hire Rupert Boneham from Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: All Stars to be the host? But, alas, Mark Burnett didn’t ask my opinion. I just don’t understand why all these TV people don’t ask me. I wouldn’t steer them wrong!

Wrote about a page and a half last night. I really wish I could look for those missing notes. But even if they’re where I think they are, I can’t really get to them with my ankle the way it is. *sigh* Most frustrating.

Not much going on here. My life is boring. Then again, all things considered, boring is GOOD.

Seems like I saw something yesterday I wanted to rant about, but since I didn’t write myself a note, I’ve now forgotten what it was. So you’re spared. *g*

Tonight’s the two hour season finale of 24. I still haven’t watched last week’s episode. The last few episodes have been… well, for lack of a better word, DULL. Dare we hope for lots of shooting, explosions, and perimeters tonight?

Also, tonight, we have Deal or No Deal, Dancing with the Stars, Cities of the Underworld (which I may well wait on since the History Channel’s been repeating them frequently), Waking the Dead, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and the season finale of Heroes.

But this week seems to be the wrap-up of most of the shows I watch, so I can finally start getting seriously caught up on shows I’ve got recorded for the past month (or more!). Whew!

I wrote about two pages last night. :)
