I can’t think of anything to talk about today, so….
| You Belong in Brooklyn |
![]() Down to earth and hard working, you’re a true New Yorker. And although you may be turning into a yuppie, you never forget your roots. |
I’m not sure why it thinks I’m turning into a yuppie unless it was my wanting to visit museums. Weird.
Today’s horoscope has me giggling in its silliness:
- You may be feeling like a snail who is emerging from her shell. When no one is looking, you slowly, cautiously stick your head out and put up your antenna to take a reading on the outside world. When you see a creature similar to yourself, you feel comfortable and come out of your shell a little more. Be careful of letting your defenses down too much, however, because a big hungry chicken is coming along who is looking for his dinner.
This just cracked me up!!!
I enjoyed Foyle’s War last night. Tonight I have new episodes of Kyle XY and Cities of the Underworld (tonight is Freemason Underground which should be fun). There’s also a new show on the History Channel called Journey to the Center of the World where this team investigates a mysterious cave in Guatemala. I’m also hoping to record Howl’s Moving Castle on one of the Encore channels.
Okay, the general consensus seems to be that the chandelier does hang over the audience in most cases, so I can keep things the way I have them.
I only wrote one page last night. Pretty boring. They’re now going out to eat because Maddie is starving after her busy evening. *g*
I haven’t attempted the upgrade yet. I guess I need to work on that so they’ll stop sending me these little “reminders”.

I’m Grennwich Village. Here’s what it says about me: Avant garde and bohemian, you’re quick to adopt new ideas and lifestyles.
And while you’re a bit less weird these days, you still have a “live and let live” philosophy.

Fun meme, it said I belonged in the East Village, fun and funky your a trend setter with a twist of academic, even if it was only on the weekends.
Huh, no way I’m funky!
Good job on the one page!

Who would have thought it: I belong in Brooklyn.
