Well, yesterday was Tony Blair’s last day as Prime Minister.
Next up, Gordon Brown.
And I still think he looks like Monty Python’s Terry Jones.
I’ve come to the conclusion the writers of Traveler have no clear cut clue where they’re going with this story. Sort of like me. *g* The best thing about last night’s episode was the appearance of Tyler Labine. Tyler was last seen—by me, at least—as Dave on Invasion.
Tonight it’s back to the High Seas with Pirate Master, back to ghost hunting with Dead Famous (we’re searching for the ghost of Billy the Kid tonight), and the premiere of the new USA show Burn Notice. Burn Notice is being aired commercial free (an hour and five minutes with no commercials?!
I think not!) and it’s on the same time as my ghost hunting pals, so I’ll record it in its later repeat showing (when it apparently has commercials because it’s on for an hour and a half then—can you believe they’ll have 25 minutes of commercials all total?!).
Central Texas has been having massive flooding.
Hope all my friends there are okay. I’d probably be trapped if I still lived there because no matter which direction you used to get to/from my house, you had to go through low water crossings.
The ankle is healing. Sloooooowly. I hate the “boot” thing you put over the cast to walk. It makes it feel twice as heavy and it’s plenty heavy enough, IMO. But at least I can put a little weight on it. I’ll spare you the details of the dry skin issues, however. ;)
I managed to write two and a half pages last night.
Yay, me! *g* Maddie found out how to trace the magic used to bring the chandelier down and she’s gone to visit with the cops. The Inspector was pleased to see her. Her new nemesis the Constable, was not. LOL.
Reading: Presumption of Death by Jill Paton Walsh (and Dorothy L. Sayers)
Sorry to hear of the troubles with your ankle, soo it will be healed, right? And then no more cast!
2 and a half pages is fantastic, I like that you let your character trace the magic, that’s neat.
Have a wonderful day and be careful with the ankle.

I’ve been reading about the floods in Texas. I’m glad that you’re not in that location.
WTG on the pages and I’m glad that the ankle is healing, despite it being slow.
I hope your Thursday is a good one.
