Today’s title has nothing to do with anything. It’s just playing on Sirius. :rocker:

Watched Howl’s Moving Castle last night. Howl was pretty hot for being animated. I loved the movie but I still think the book is better. For one thing, I couldn’t figure out where all the flying ships and battleships came from. I sure don’t remember them from the book! Cities of the Underworld wasn’t nearly as interesting as I’d hoped it would be. *sigh* Oh well.

Not much on tonight, so I’ll watch recorded stuff. Unless I decide to gear up for the season premiere of Eureka by watching old episodes. :)

I only wrote one page again last night. I’m thinking it may be time to take a break from this particular project. It’s getting more and more difficult to figure out what happens next.

I can’t think of anything to talk about today, so….

You Belong in Brooklyn

Down to earth and hard working, you’re a true New Yorker.
And although you may be turning into a yuppie, you never forget your roots.
Where Should Your Inner New Yorker Live?

I’m not sure why it thinks I’m turning into a yuppie unless it was my wanting to visit museums. Weird.

Today’s horoscope has me giggling in its silliness:

You may be feeling like a snail who is emerging from her shell. When no one is looking, you slowly, cautiously stick your head out and put up your antenna to take a reading on the outside world. When you see a creature similar to yourself, you feel comfortable and come out of your shell a little more. Be careful of letting your defenses down too much, however, because a big hungry chicken is coming along who is looking for his dinner.

This just cracked me up!!!

I enjoyed Foyle’s War last night. Tonight I have new episodes of Kyle XY and Cities of the Underworld (tonight is Freemason Underground which should be fun). There’s also a new show on the History Channel called Journey to the Center of the World where this team investigates a mysterious cave in Guatemala. I’m also hoping to record Howl’s Moving Castle on one of the Encore channels.

Okay, the general consensus seems to be that the chandelier does hang over the audience in most cases, so I can keep things the way I have them. :cheer: I only wrote one page last night. Pretty boring. They’re now going out to eat because Maddie is starving after her busy evening. *g*

I haven’t attempted the upgrade yet. I guess I need to work on that so they’ll stop sending me these little “reminders”. :fryingpan:

Well, okay, it’s not THAT super, but there you are. :) It’s actually a little rainy here today.

When did Bon Jovi switch from rock :rocker: to country? I love them in either genre, but it’s still kind of disconcerting to see Jon Bon Jovi and Ricky Sambora and the rest of the guys on the country music video channels.

Watched two episodes of Dead Famous (Mae West and Bing Crosby) and two episodes of Gil Mayo last night. Tonight is Mystery! night with more Foyle’s War, Dead Famous (we go in search of James Dean), and several Fatty Arbuckle/Mabel Normand silent shorts on Turner Classic Movies. That’s right, folks, I have NOT forgotten my 1920s murder mystery, so whenever TCM shows any silent movies or shorts I have to watch/record them. :)

Wrote a page and a half last night. Nothing too exciting. Maddie, Alex & the cops discussed the possibility of magic being used to drop the chandelier on the seats below. It occurred to me last night, too, that I’m somewhat hampered by the fact I’ve only seen Phantom once and that was not in a theater venue, technically speaking. I saw it at Gammage Auditorium at Arizona State University. And that was almost ten years ago.

So, today’s poll (like I have polls every day! ) if you’ve seen Phantom of the Opera on the stage, was the chandelier suspended over the audience? I suppose, really, since this is my alternate dimension world I can do it however I want, but I’d like to be at least halfway accurate.

And if I accidentally disappear for awhile, blame Wordpress. I’ve been getting these rude—okay, more annoying than rude—emails telling me my Wordpress version is out of date. So I guess I’ll attempt to upgrade. Joy.
