From CNN:
GERMS SENT TO SPACE COME BACK MEANER, SCIENTIST REPORTS
It sounds like the plot for a scary B-movie: Germs go into orbit on a spaceship and come back stronger and deadlier than ever.
So quit sending them to space, you morons!
Sheesh.
Well, last night was the Dancing with the Stars elimination show. Thank goodness they got rid of Josie Maran!
(Aren’t I mean? LOL!) I’ve decided I’m going to try voting this season on ABC’s website.
Tonight it’s Survivor: Whiners, er, I mean China. And the season premieres of Smallville (please don’t let Chloe be dead!!!) and CSI (please DO let Sara die!!!
). I think I’ll also catch the encore of Reaper since I’ve been hearing lots of good things about it.
On the writing front, I wrote a page and a half on Bree & Dane and read some more of Jessie & Morgan’s story. The plot’s getting a tad convoluted, I fear…
Reading: Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie. I know whodunit in this one, but it’s still somewhat different from the A&E series version.
Last night’s Dancing with the Stars was another fun night.
Last night we had the guys. They totally rocked! I thought Wayne Newton’s performance was the worst, but he was still way better than poor Josie Maran. She better be the one who gets the boot tonight. I was totally in awe of Mark Cuban. Would you believe the man’s doing this show after having had HIP REPLACEMENT just seven or eight weeks ago?!
Indy 500 winner Helio (I can’t remember his last name) is my hands-down favorite. He had SUCH a good time and was a great dancer, too! And he wore the most adorable big grin the whole time he was dancing. The other guys were pretty good, but nothing that really stood out in my mind.
Then there was Eureka. I so do not like the direction they’re going. ‘Nuff said.
Tonight’s another busy, busy, busy night. There’s Deal or No Deal (which will probably get recorded), Dancing with the Stars (which I’ll watch live), the season premieres of Criminal Minds, CSI: NY, and new series Bionic Woman, Life, and Inside Lost Worlds (not to be confused with just plain Lost Worlds which is also on tonight). Whew! I’m sort of hoping I don’t like some of the new shows. Then again, with Mandy Patinkin gone, I’m not sure I’m interested in watching Criminal Minds anymore. So we shall see.
On the writing front, I wrote another two pages last night on Bree & Dane. And read some more of Jessie & Morgan’s story.
Reading: Sweet Myth-tery of Life by Robert Asprin.
This post’s title is the title of one of my new favorite country songs. It’s by Trisha Yearwood. It’s not a funny video, per se. I just like the song. It’s peppy!
So, last night was the premiere of Dancing with the Stars. Last night was just the women. Bond Girl Jane Seymour: very elegant. Cheetah Girl (Disney franchise) Sabrina Bryan: smokin’ hot (she’s the girl to beat at this point)! Marie Osmond: smooth and elegant. Mel B (aka Scary Spice of the Spice Girls): not too bad. Jennie Garth: pretty good. Model Josie Maran: needs a lot of work (her partner described her as deceptively unfit
). Tonight, it’s the guys.
Also on tonight (it’s another super busy night): season premieres of NCIS and Bones, the men’s competition on Dancing with the Stars and, of course, my beloved Eureka. I’ll have to record Eureka, though, because DwtS is on for an hour and a half. But there’s nothing on at 9:00pm, so I’ll watch it once DwtS is over.
Now I need to watch last night’s Heroes…
On the writing front, I wrote two pages on Bree & Dane. Then read some more of Jessie & Morgan’s story.
Reading: Mystery of the Blue Train by Agatha Christie. I’m about halfway through.
