I love Christmas song parodies. Winter Underwear instead of Winter Wonderland. The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen instead of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. And the version of Angels We Have Heard On High which continues “Urge us to go out and buy”.
But I like the originals, too. Just in a different way.
Man, Cold Case was on almost an hour late last night due to the stupid football game. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate sports forcing my shows to come on late? Granted, I don’t much like the whole “we now join our regular programming in progress” either. But still. I never claimed to be consistent. LOL!
Tonight, it’s the finale of Dancing With the Stars. I am going to be so pissed if Marie Osmond wins this thing. She is NOT the best dancer. I like her and all, but she doesn’t really deserve to be in the finals, IMO. Also tonight we have Chuck, Heroes, and CSI: Miami.
Got in another page last night. Six more days and I can put this one aside and work on something else. And I am SOOOO looking forward to that. Why six days, you ask? Because one of my writing groups does this 100 Words for 100 Days thing. Granted, I’ve exceeded the daily word count every day, but I’ll stick it out for the full 100 days. Then I’ll reward myself with something new. Or old, as the case may be.
Reading: I picked up Cat’s Eyewitness by Rita Mae Brown last night, but I’m not sure I’m in the mood for it. For one thing I just realized I remember whodunit. Kind of spoils the mystery. *g*
WTG on the writing for almost 100 days, but I really think you should finish this project! I know I’ve said that before, but you really need to reach the end before going on to something new even if you’re bored out of your mind. Finish a crap draft then move on!
Hope Helio wins tonight. I will be glued to Heroes!

I may watch dancing with the Stars tonight, just to see who wins.
Thanks for the reminder on the strange Christmas songs, I need to find all the words to Jingle Bells Batman smells. *G* (I’m a strange Mom.)
Good job on another page. I think you’re doing great!
Have a good evening!

The finale is TONIGHT? We find out who wins TONIGHT? That’s so weird… Okay.
And, I’m with Melissa… writing something halfway doesn’t do it. Finish your first draft. Then put it away. Joo got tooo fineesh eet!

Are you on the same time zone as me? I would think Cold Case would come 2 to 3 hours later than me and air on time.
Woo Hoo…nearly 100 days of writing…that is awesome!
Thanks for reminding me of Dancing with the stars. Do we get to vote tonight? I want Helio to win.

Cold Case was good though.
WhooHoo on the 100 days thing. I’d settle for one day. And I’m the last one to tell you to finish it (looking around at all of my unfinished manuscripts).
