It’s Weird News Wednesday! An interesting thing in the news this past week.

A “Dino Mummy” was recently unveiled, though it was discovered in 1998, I believe. It’s the most intact dinosaur remains in existence.
I finally warmed up yesterday. I don’t know why I was so cold. It was fairly warm outside. Today… not so much. It’s currently 45, but the temps are supposed to drop from there. And it’s STILL rainy. 
Highs in the 40s tomorrow & Friday. Then highs in the bloody 30s over the weekend. Brr!
The holidays have certainly brought out the lunatics this year. First the mall shooting in Omaha. Then the church shootings in Colorado. And yesterday the school bus shooting in Las Vegas. My prayers go out to everyone affected by these events.
And Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek suffered a minor heart attack (I imagine it doesn’t seem minor to the person having it!) yesterday. My prayers are with him and his family, too.
I had an optometrist appointment this morning. I desperately need new glasses. It’s gotten to where I can’t see my laptop screen without hunching over and squinting. Enough already! So I’m getting some really pretty purple-pink frames. Cool!
Tonight on TV we’ve got new episodes 
of Criminal Minds, CSI: NY, Deal or No Deal, and Pushing Daisies. Whether I’ll get to see that last one is a mystery given our stupid cable system. *sigh*

Ooh, new glasses! Cool! I have to buy Daughter glasses early next year. She would SO love a pair of purplr/pink glasses. *g*
Did you see the news about author Terry Pratchet? I was so sorry to hear that he has Alzheimer’s.

So, you’re cold when it’s 63 degrees, and warm up when it’s 45? Hmmm…
