Happy Christmas Eve!!!

I’ve already gotten some gifts. Money which is always useful and an iTunes gift card from my aunt & uncle. Yay!!! Now I can finally buy some of the songs sitting in my iTunes shopping cart. :)

Watched a mildly entertaining Disney movie I’d never heard of last night. It was called Summer Magic and was based on a book by Kate Douglas Wiggin who also wrote Rebecca of Sunnybrooke Farm. It starred Hayley Mills, Burl Ives, and Dorothy Maguire. I found the book it was based on one of the public domain book sites (it was written in 1910) and I’m hoping it has a better ending than the movie. The movie version sort of fizzled out and left me wanting to rewrite it. *g*

Tonight it’s Christmas movies! Probably ones I’ve already recorded since most of the ones playing during prime time are ones I’ve already seen. :)

Reading: I’m not quite finished with How to Murder the Man of Your Dreams, but should tonight.

  2. Merry Christmas Eve!

I’m watching (on DVD) How the Grinch Stole Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life.

I’ve seen that movie - a long time ago.

  5. Merry Christmas!

Yep… I’m a big fan of gift cards (just in case you were wondering! ).

DD and I watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” yesterday. I had to keep putting it on pause to explain stuff — most of everything went clean over her head, and she’s not afraid to ask questions.

Life with an 8 y.o. puts a different light on things.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
