I was cracking up last night because our weather dude was doing the weather from outside the studio and he was complaining about how he didn’t think to bring a coat to wear. I was like, “Dude! You’re the weather man! You didn’t know it was going to be cold???”

Today’s Hollywoodland history tidbit:

In 1865, French film pioneers Auguste and Louis Lumiere showed the first commercial motion pictures at a Paris cafe.

There isn’t much on tonight. Again. So I’ll most likely be found watching recorded stuff. :)

For those who have asked, yes, I have my new glasses. I still need to take a picture.

I had an appointment this morning to get fitted for my new special shoes. Thank the Good Lord they’re no longer as ugly as they used to be. The ones recommended for me look pretty much like standard athletic shoes. They’re a lot clunkier than my Reeboks, but I guess I’ll just have to live with that. I should have them in about two weeks.

  3. Glad to hear the shoes aren’t going to be as “ugly” as you imagined. And like Dru, how long will you have to wear them?
YAY! New glasses! Don’t forget to take a picture soon! *G*

Enjoy your evening! And look at it this way, you are now able to catch up with all your recorded shows! *G*

  4. Good to hear about the shoes improving in looks. And it has to be better than the stupid boot, right?
