Several people have asked how long I’ll have to wear the special shoes. The answer to that is, most likely, forever. Because they weren’t able to do surgery on my ankle, it’s not as straight as it should be. So the shoes are supposed to balance that out.
So, I’m watching HGTV and some of their house hunting shows. What is up with these people? They look at the houses and make whiny comments like “I don’t like that wallpaper” or “What a hideous color”. Hello? Stuff like that isn’t permanent! You can CHANGE IT!!! Really! *shaking head* I just can’t imagine somebody not considering a house based on the wall color.
Last night, I watched The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black. It was the first time I’d seen it. It’s a keeper! What a delightful holiday romance!
There is absolutely nothing on tonight. So it’ll be more recorded stuff for me tonight.
Reading: I’m still reading The Trouble with Harriet by Dorothy Cannell. It’s one of my favorites of this series.
those househunting shows drive me crazy. I mean, I look at a place and think, okay, we could tear out that wall, make the window bigger, etc. Who cares about wallpaper and color!
I love The Holiday. I’ve seen it twice already. Isn’t Jude Law the perfect Graham?

I haven’t seen that movie yet. I’ll have to check when it comes on next time.
When I see houses, the first thing I’m thinking is how can I change it.
I hope your Sunday is a good one.

Those house-hunting shows drive me crazy, they nit-pick everything, not always a bad thing, but the color of the walls? SO easy to change. What really gets me is that they always start out with a list of requirments the house they want should have, but then they end up picking the house that is completly different!
I saw The Holiday for the first time this year and enjoyed it. I just wish someone had warned me about The Family Stone! *g*
I hope you have a wonderful evening!
